Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceA small peaceful hotel , in partnership with the Swissotel beach you can spend your day at the beach , the staff is discreet and welcoming . If you are looking for a peaceful not too crowded place with minimum amenities basics and secure and safe space not extravagant , it's the place to be and it's close to everything in the center .

DenmarkThe taxa had a hard time finding the hotel because some roads were closed. When he asked for help no one knew the hotel. 1 hour after booking the hotel I got a message that I have to pay cash at the hotel. It would have been nice to know when you book. I just took out money and had to take out money again. You cannot pay anything with card at the hotel so you need a lot of cash if you stay there longer. The beach closes at 18:30 which is very early. The sun goes down 2-3 hours later so really a shame you cant spend more time at the beach. With that said, the hotel and staff were ok and I would stay again.
The staff was nice. I got a huge room with 2 bedrooms and a living room, also a big terrace. The beach was very nice. I booked the room for 8 hours to rest before a flight.

RomaniaDon’t expect too much of the room, the furniture is a bit worn out, but for us it was really ok.
The staff was really kind, we arrived late in the night and they helped us with everything. Also, they explained how the public transportation work. Nice private beach. The room is average.

United KingdomThe rooms could use some upkeep. The shower in our room needed to be replaced. The shower doors didn't open or close very easily and lots of discoloration of the moulding. Could accept the condition for the price but would have been a much better room with a small amount of work.
The staff at Oonas are all great including the staff in their restaurant. Felt like you were staying in a hostel (in a positive way) where everyone is seeing each other each day and feels like a little community. We found everyone to be very helpful and welcoming. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the top floor rooms with a balcony are very nice. Has direct beach access with a reef which was worth the stay alone.

SloveniaThe room furniture is dated, and the floors were quite dusty.
The location is fantastic, right next to a beautiful beach. One of the highlights was the large terrace with a swing and a lovely view of the beach. The staff are very friendly, especially Mohannad at the reception, who was there when we checked out. He kindly offered to print our boarding passes, which was much appreciated.

United StatesOne thing is the plugs on the wall do not have a USB charger for your phone, so you need to have appropriate plugs with you to charge your phone
We stayed in this hotel only for a day, we arrived there after a long drive and hiking at Jabal Mussa to enjoy the beach at Sharm El-Sheik. Initially our driver had to pass through a security guard who wouldn't let our driver pass without a tip and that was kind of annoying. We were disappointed with that, however once we get to the desk all that changed. The Manager at the desk at the time was Ahmed and he was very professional, full of smile and treated us well. A very polite guy. That positive personality was what we needed after a long day. We enjoyed staying one night and next day we checked out around mid-day but left our stuff with reception enjoying our time at the beach until 3 PM. The location fantastic as it is steps away from red sea beach, and right by the beach walkway where you can find a bunch of restaurants & shopping area.

EgyptOnly a couple of small things to note – the breakfast could use a little more daily variety, and while there’s no King Bed option, the hotel joins two single beds together quite seamlessly, and you won’t feel the difference at all.
A Memorable Stay at Oonas Dive Club – Highly Recommended! Reviewed by: Alaa Hafny Despite being a small hotel, Oonas Dive Club is truly one of the most charming places I’ve stayed at in Sharm El Sheikh. My review is based on a 4-night stay, and I can confidently say it was a wonderful experience. Location: The location is absolutely outstanding. The hotel is situated directly on Naama Bay’s beachfront – literally first row – and shares a private, clean sandy beach with the neighboring Swissotel. One of the highlights is the pedestrian promenade that runs between the hotels and the beaches. This promenade is full of shops and supermarkets and stretches along the entire bay, offering a lively yet peaceful atmosphere. Being very close to Peace Road, the city’s main route, the hotel gives easy access to most of Sharm El Sheikh. Transportation is convenient – you’ll find both taxis and public minibuses (which are budget-friendly and reliable). Facilities & Food: Oonas Dive Club offers a bed-and-breakfast style of stay. While lunch and dinner aren't included, the on-site restaurant serves both at very reasonable prices. The breakfast is a simple but delicious open buffet, and the food quality is consistently good – although I would have appreciated a bit more variety from day to day. There’s no swimming pool at the property, but for me, that wasn’t an issue at all – the beach and the sea were exactly what I came for. Rooms: This was my favorite part of the stay. The rooms are exceptionally clean and private. Bathrooms are spotless and in great condition – nothing felt old or worn out. There were absolutely no issues with insects or bed bugs, which speaks volumes about the hygiene standards. The room's balcony offers a breathtaking view of the sea, palm trees, and the mountains of the Sinai Peninsula – all at once. Natural sunlight floods the room during the day, which I absolutely loved as someone who enjoys being close to nature.

United KingdomIt's incredibly loud from all the resorts, as to be expected. The towels were grey (used to be white) and a little bit more cleaning in the bathrooms would be nice (some mold on the shower cabin walls etc). The wifi was not great either.
The stuff was super nice and helpful! We checked in past midnight, got a lot of directions and help whenever needed. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. The room was good sized, and the bed very comfy. The location is great for divers who want to use one of the Naama bay diving clubs and have it at a walking distance from your place.

United KingdomSadly for me, the constant noise from the adjacent and nearby hotels was unbearable. The music started at 10am pumping out from Swissotel beach bar and continued until at least 11pm every day - and not at modest/chilled levels, it was full on!! I know there’s nothing that Oonas Hotel could do anything about but it did make me cut short my holiday. It was so overwhelmingly for my nervous system as I’m someone who likes peace and quiet (I know, that’ll teach me for not checking out the area beforehand booking!). I was in room 12 (top floor above the dive centre) and this meant that although I had a sea view to my left, directly in front was a dozen air-con and ventilation units from the Swissotel food outlet that pumped out food smells late afternoon. Again, this isn’t the fault of Oonas Hotel but you all need to know. If you want a quiet holiday, Naamah Bay is not for you (or me!).
From booking to the moment I left, Ahmed the manager offered exceptional customer service and attention. All the other staff at the hotel were also incredibly lovely and always so helpful and friendly. My room had a lovely balcony and I loved the simplicity of the hotel with its easy going ‘diver vibe’, and that they’re so eco-conscious. The restaurant served simple and tasty food at very good prices. Having the use of the sun beds and private beach of the adjacent Swissotel was great… the fish swim right up close to there shore.
