How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewWe stayed here for 4 nights, and everything was absolutely perfect! Nasser and Haithem are incredibly kind and welcoming. they greeted us warmly with a welcome drink and helped us with so many things during our stay. The apartment was great, and the location in the Nubian village is amazing, with a beautiful view of the Nile. The breakfast was wonderful as well. We highly recommend this place!

Verified reviewThe hotel made my experience much BETTER than I initially thought. People here were extremely helpful and worried about us, specially Haithian, who supported us with absolutely all. He even helped me with a tour guide we already booked (disappointing service) and talked with several people in Arabic -at 4:00 am- for us to have the best of the experiences. Without him, my trip wouldn’t be the same. Absolutely recommended if it’s your first time in Aswan and want to have direct view to the Nile in a friendly environment.

Verified reviewWe arrived at the property by boat, they have their own water access and you can also use this to swim in the Nile,they took our bags, signaled for us to take a seat, a few minutes later a fresh mango juice appeared, delicious. The room was perfectly fine and had a fridge, no problems at all. The staff were extremely friendly and always smiling offering to help, this included helping one of us to the pharmacy to translate. Great stay, in a good location, can't be beaten.

The view was beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the atmosphere in the evenings. The hotel organized a gathering that brought together locals and guests, featuring Nubian music and dancing. It was an amazing experience with an intimate and very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were respectful and went above and beyond to ensure the guests' comfort. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The hotel also arranged trips to various attractions by boat and car, and you could take a camel ride into the desert directly from the hotel. The location was excellent, right next to the bazaar but still peaceful and private. There was also an ATM located right in front of the hotel. I initially booked the hotel for a few nights but extended my stay because I enjoyed it so much. They even upgraded my room to a larger one with a private terrace and a stunning view of the river! I also really appreciated the beautiful paintings and decorations, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I dined at the hotel every day, and the food was absolutely incredible – fresh and flavorful! I highly recommend this place; it offers excellent value for money.

Verified reviewThe host and his team were amazing. I would give them more than 10 points. They did everything to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast was better than in a 4 stars hotel. Hotel is in the Nubian village, and you have a very good chance to get known these remarkable people.
Facilities and the room were basic, but host's attitude and help exceeded all shortcomings.

Verified reviewThe rooms have nice aircon which is life saver in 49 degrees heat in summer. Staff is friendly and helpful. Property is on the bank of Nile river, in the end of touristic Nubian village road, hence not too crazy. Breakfast is decent- cook tried his best to give us variation everyday.
The location is far from the town. There isn’t much to do in Nubian village. The road leading to the property from highway is in terrible condition. most of the shops in neighbourhood try to charge you triple the amount for everything.There is no decent restaurant in the whole village. No fruit or vegetable shops. There are souvenir shops on the main road which constantly try to push you to buy something every time you step out of the guesthouse. Property itself is decent except few issues. There is no flat screen tv with channels. The bed was not very comfortable. Toilet wall doesn’t go to the ceiling and there is no exhaust fan which makes the room smelly. A lot of mosquitoes- impossible to sit outside after sunset. Powercut for about an hour during afternoon everyday during our stay( not guesthouse’s mistake) and terrible wifi.
