Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) A Magical Stay with Jimmy Hotel! Staying at Jimmy Pyramids Hotel was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome—warm, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The location is absolutely unbeatable—just minutes from the pyramids, with stunning views that made every morning and sunset unforgettable. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I especially appreciated the rooftop area, where I could relax with tea and take in the incredible scenery. It honestly felt like a dream watching the pyramids light up at night from the rooftop! Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a nice variety, and the hotel also helped me arrange tours, transportation, and even gave helpful local tips that made exploring Cairo so much easier and more enjoyable. This is a perfect spot for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for an authentic experience near the pyramids. I felt safe, cared for, and truly at home. Highly recommend Jimmy Pyramids Hotel—thank you for the unforgettable memories!

I always love Jimmy's. He gave us an upgrade and we stayed in the best room. The one featured in the photo with the tub. The view was amazing.

Again that we had to leave. It's a little hard for uber to find but the employees help.

Overlooking the pyramids, Jimmy's hotel is a treasure yet to be discovered. The service is impeccable, allowing guests to enjoy breakfast lunch and dinner at the rooftop balcony while admiring the pyramids. Meals are served throughout the day, as well as hot or cold drinks refreshments and snacks (try the Egyptian Lemonade). Jimmy is happy to help plan any necessary tours. The best way to see everything is using the tours. The ATV nighttime tour of the Pyramids is highly recommended. The staff's politeness, kindness, and helpfulness make for an unforgettable stay. Rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is exceptional, offering a diverse selection of Egyptian breakfast cuisine.

    I couldn't stay longer

Nothing!!!! Please be careful when booking this hotel!!! I would not advise to stay here. I was fooled by the reviews and also this is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The rooftop view is great but nothing special. I booked this hotel for 3 nights but upon arrival at the hotel, I was told that they did not have my deluxe suite that I booked and no other rooms available. I was then told they will take me to another hotel called al farida boutique for 1 night and offered me dinner and drop off to airport as compensation. The hotel was 5-10 mins walk away, I had to walk back on my own for the dinner and was met by the owner Jimmy who apologised and promised my deluxe suite will be available the next day. He also promised to have someone collect me from the other hotel in the morning as I said I had a tour booked and the company was picking up at 8:30am from Jimmy pyramids. No one turned up in the morning, I had to then find my way back to Jimmy and was told by the manager that he was busy with dealing with the guests for breakfast. I text Jimmy as he had given me his number and told him about this and said if my room is not available I will be asking for a refund. After my tour I went back to the hotel and was given a double room with a balcony. I paid £287 to this hotel. The manager then insisted I paid for a double room with a balcony in a very aggressive tone. I asked for my refund and requested Jimmy come to the property to sort this out. His approach to this was I was not happy with the room and they will only refund me US$200 as booking.com takes commission. I was exhausted and as a female I did not feel comfortable with the tone I was being spoken to and requested the refund as cash. I booked this hotel with a non refundable cancellation which was a big mistake and I learnt my lesson. This is why I asked for the cash.

Customer Service, hospitality poor, they are not honest. The hotel is not easy to find and the location is not the best. I booked this hotel with the expectation of having a beautiful view in my room as I had tours booked everyday. Thankfully I did not use this property for tours. Another guest booked a 5am morning tour and they waited and no one turned up. Please expect the locals to approach you constantly if you decide to walk around the area, there are no nice restaurants close by and if you female solo travellers you might not feel too safe. I want to ensure that if anyone decides to book this hotel please, please make sure that if this happens to to do not trust this hotel and accept being put into another hotel, ask for a REFUND immediately to avoid having all this drama for a holiday. I would not complain about a hotel if I was given the service that should be given as a customer. This was meant to be a birthday holiday and I am grateful that besides this hotel drama. I had great tours and the 4 star hotel downtown made up for all this frustration and disappointment!!!!!!

I really appreciated how they are taking care of their clients and not asking personal questions. Anything we need just ask, the breakfast on the roof top was really cool as well, I felt myself in my own home. There is no open buffet which means that we have to claim what we need for breakfast or dinner from a menu depending what we selected in the booking, this is fair because it is a small infrastructure and I believe it is to avoid wasting of food. If I have to come again in Giza I will come back to this hotel for sure.

Maybe the neighborhood we have to be careful and maybe safe to check with hotel to manage accommodations for you. But independent about the hotel I have no comments to add the staff is perfect and appreciate all the kind attention to me.

The room was lovely, clean, spacious and modern. Overall hotel nice and staff very helpful

The bathroom is very small and shower not very clean. There no lamp next to the bed or bed side light which is inconvenient.

This was my third time visiting this hotel and I will continue to visit every time I come to Egypt! It’s in a great location close to the Pyramids and the Sphinx and has some of the best food I’ve had in Egypt. The most amazing part of this hotel is the staff- they were so helpful with every question I had and in organizing any experiences or tours I wanted to do. As a solo traveler this has been the perfect place to stay, I’ve never felt more welcomed anywhere else. Many thanks to Ahmed, Mohammed, Anna, and the rest of the staff for the warm hospitality, I can’t wait to return!

The rooftop views and vibes are amazing! The hotel is ran by a family, and they’ve been running it for decades! The breakfast is amazing! The hospitality and friendliness is amazing! The interior design is amazing! We loved it all! We would definitely come back!

I think this all depends on your mindset and perspective. I came here for an authentic Egyptian experience and I got it. I’m grateful. Egypt is not for the weak. Come with your tough skin on. Prepare to exercise your assertiveness. You’ll want to come back too.

Jimmy is the best person/tour guide to have here in egypt if you ever think of visiting. The energy, the vibes and the people here at this hotel are 11/10. Most trustworthy and Highly recommended if you ever think of coming to Egypt.
