There was really nothing negative about our stay — everything was calm, comfortable, and even better than expected.

Palm Guest House on Elephantine Island is a truly special place. The location is wonderfully calm, with beautiful views of the Nile that make every moment feel peaceful and unique. Breakfasts were fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious — a real highlight of the stay. The host is exceptionally kind, always available, and genuinely attentive, which made us feel at home from the very first day. The house itself is spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the whole atmosphere is warm and relaxing. If you are looking for comfort, tranquility, and genuine hospitality in Aswan, this guesthouse is the perfect choice.

It was a 10 min walk on basic paths across the island to get to. Whilst I was ok, you need to be able to carry your luggage, or arrange with the owner for a boat (best option).

Super friendly and accommodating staff. They even were up with a (basic) packed breakfast when I had a 3:30am Abu Simbel start! They provided a bonus boat to my pickup point on departure - awesome!

The house is relatively new so you will smell a bit of fresh paint but it should go away after a fee months.

The guest house is very new but you will receive one of the most genuine hospitality, hosted by the a lovely owner his helpful staff. The owner can arrange airport pick up to the ferry with affordable price. The staff help us carry our heavy luggage from the ferry to the guest house and vice versa. The guest house is situated on the river side with a spectacular sunset. The property will make you feel like a second home. The owner and his staffs are very helpful, they can assist you in sorting out trips/tours with actually very good price. We couldn’t ask for a better experience.

The guesthouse is set within the scenic Nubian village on Elephantine island and is clearly quite new because the room and the interiors of the building were spotless. Also has AC which is vital in the summer! The owner is very welcoming and willing to help with any additional requests you might have.

We give the owner the benefit of the doubt and rated 8.0. Our stay was part of a soft opening - the bathroom was really dirty. This should not happen in every day operation.

Super friendly host and staff in a nice cozy hotel. Beautiful terrace on the top floor for breakfast or dinner with a view on the Nile river. Quiet neighborhood in the nubian village. The room was basic but nice, beds held up a goods night sleep. We had typical arabic bkft included. We booked two tours with and both were well organized and cheaper than getyourguide or other comparable bookings. Reliable transportation. You can trust Palm Guest house with your itinerary.

Everyone here is so friendly! The location is just near by the Nile river, view from terrace is amazing. The host always there to help, they made us breakfast at 6am on the day we need to go to airport. A perfect time here, thanks everyone!

The place is new and nice. The home owner called me the day before I arrived to facilitate my way from the train station to the guest house, I really appreciated that call. He also helped to arrange a boat trip. He showed so much hospitality with his co-worker Mahmoud who carried our baggage when we reached the island. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay if you’ll be out all day.

We really enjoy our stay. We spend 4 nights. The spot on island is amazing. You can swim, it's really quiet and the view is amazing. Best breakfast in Egypt. The staff is incredible. They can organise you anything you want for cheap price. I recommend this hotel ! Best hotel in Egypt so far.

The rooms are clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooftop view is breathtaking, offering a perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, and the outdoor seating area was a lovely touch. Overall, a perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and great views. Highly recommend!!!
