How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe hotel manager, Mahmoud, welcomed us warmly and was very friendly. All The staff were also helpful and polite, easy to deal with, and always ready with a welcoming smile. Having staff who are eager to please you makes a big difference, especially when you arrive tired and eager to get to your room. The room is really clean The location is very close to the Pyramids . The view of the pyramids is wonderful, and the breakfast is more than excellent. !!!I will definitely stay at this hotel again

Verified reviewAlthough we stayed in this hatel for one night ,it was adifferent experience .Upon arrival at the hotel ,the hotel manager Mr mustafa welcomed us and organized atrip to the museum of civilization in record time .the room has also been upgraded for the better .the view from the rooftop and breakfast are mor than amazing .the staff is excellent .we definitely recommend this hotel

Verified reviewThe rooms are absolutely spectacular! perfect in every way, the roof top terrace is one of the best views you will get of all 3 pyramids in Cairo! the service from the staff is also spectacular, they will go above and beyond for you, carrying your bags to the room and always leaving bottles of water outside for you .they also organized avery enjoyable tour for us and our guide Mahmoud was very helpful and took cre of us. very modern place. all round 10/10. easy walking distance to the pyramids.

Verified reviewThe location of this hotel is superb. From the room , there are spectacular views of all the pyramids and Sphinx. Another positive was Mr. mahmoud at the reception desk. He was gracious, helpful, spoke good japanese, and made our check in both easy and quick. The young man moving our luggage was also happy to assist us. definitely recommended it to family and friends

Verified reviewUnsurpassable view of the pyramids from rooftop - if you want to see the best view in Giza, then go to the Pyramids Crypt Hotel. The room clean, comfortable and spacious. Well worth booking a king of room with a view and balcony because it’s just unforgettable. Wonderful staff who helped with our itineraries and airport transportation (especially appreciated as our flight was delayed by over 4 hours). Good choice of food in the restaurant and extremely obliging restaurant staff. We feel we chose the absolute best hotel in Giza at this level and thoroughly recommend it.

The room was simple yet equipped with everything I needed: a bathroom, fridge, TV, kettle, and iron — more than acceptable for the price paid. One of the highlights of the property is its lovely rooftop, which offers a direct view of the pyramids — a truly remarkable feature. What stands out even more, however, is the exceptional service provided by the staff and the owner. Their kindness and availability went beyond expectations and added great value to my stay. A helpful tip: if you need tours or transportation, the hotel staff can arrange these at reasonable prices.

Verified review5 minutes from the ticket office of the Pyramids. Staff is helpful. The hotel and the rooms are clean. Wifi and aircon is OK. The view from the roof is more than wonderful (when we have breakfast)

Verified reviewThe staff and the locals were extremely kind and helpful. Coming from NYC to Cairo and seeing locals on camels and horseback was so beautiful. Muhammad greeted us upon arrival and took care of our tours, guide and transportation during our entire stay and bid us farewell. His staff treated my mother as if it was their very own mother. Verified reviewThe staff were friendly and attentive, the room was very clean, and the view of the pyramids was great, They have two rooftop areas that offer excellent views, it's a central location near to several restaurants. The Breakfast was Traditional and adequate.
The balcony was on the side of the room with a high wall which we didn't use. However, given the excellent roof top area that wasn't an issue. The area outside of the hotel isn't good but again this could be said for all the surrounding streets. Don't let this put you off, the Hotel itself is a place I would recommend to family and friends alike.
