Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MexicoThere's a lot of noise during the night and in weekends the owners' son and his friends like to hang at the hotel and make a lot of noise.
Great location. The owners are super nice and friendly. They gave us a big room with an amazing view. Breakfast is good too.

HungaryIt is not a hotel but a family home with rooms for rent. This might be uncomfortable but the building is quite big so I felt like in a hotel. The staff is nice, they help you if you have some problem or question. Some rooms overlook the pyramids and there is a rooftop terrace too. It is a simple, clean accommodation without a kettle, hair dryer, etc., but it is a good choice for this money.

JordanLiterally a nightmare Horrible and no respect to the guests I think i was the only guest during my stay, i was literally staying in a middle of a construction site! they were rebuilding and redecorating the whole building Drilling and knocking noises all day from 9am untill 12am Workers shouting infront of my door with loud music while working all the rooms furniture was in the hallway -they asked me to move to another room cuz they wanna “fix” something and i can get back to it the next day but that didnt happen cuz they were redoing the whole room painting and they opened a new window!!!!! my room door was literally blocked and i had to climb over the wood Why did you even open the booking if you were planing to renew the building!

United StatesPlease read my other reviews about pyramid Family Inn. Please note: The owner will beg you to leave a great review! We also had to get a room for my elderly parents at a nearby hotel because this place was in shambles. The stairs were full of rubble and filth. No elevator at all. Mosquitoes from hell. Lied to us, rented our paid room while we were gone to Luxor. Bathroom fixtures are broke. Exposed wires in the rooms. Other guests treated better than my family of 7. Had to buy a clean pillow and towels from a nearby store. Staff jealous and bickering. The owner told my husband he was no longer Egyptian when he tried to talk to her about the problems. He is from Egypt but an American citizen. She basically called him a traitor. We never got any refund, nor an apology. The only helpful staff at this place were 2 teen boys named Abdullah and LaLa. Stay at the hotel next door. It is clean and has an elevator. No open halls so there are no mosquitoes at the hotel next door. If you do not know arabic, you would not know about all the jealousy, gossiping and bickering that goes on here. Do not stay here, find another place!
Nothing, The experience was a nightmare!

United StatesMy family and I booked this hotel for three weeks. We had 3 rooms. We had booked this hotel around a year in advance. When we arrived, the place was being overhauled and there was paint, ladders, trash, and plaster all over the place. We were given one towel for 2 rooms. So we went to the store to buy towels. The shower for my kids rooms did not work. We asked to have it fixed, but it never was. We slept on filthy matresses and disgusting dirty pillows. We were eating chocolates one eve on the roof and offered chocolates to the staff that were around. This later came back to bite us as one of the cleaning ladies told my mother that we tip them in candies. The staff ladies were constantly jealous of each other and the drama there was a huge disappointment. The staff started telling us there was no tea or sugar. We paid for breakfast and tea is a part of that. So we bought our own tea and sugar. After 2 days, they told us there was still none, but serve other guests tea immediately. We booked for 3 weeks but planned to stay one week in Luxor. We took our room key with us when we left. When we arrived back at the Pyramid Family Inn, the owner's son told us that we could not go to our room because the hallway door that led to our room was locked. So I went and waited at the locked door while they looked for a key. As I am standing by this locked door, I notice it moving. I push on it and someone on the other side of the door is holding it closed. They were lying to us about a key and were stalling. Finally a kid opens the door and I ask him why he was holding the door shut? He speaks English but would not answer me. A staff lady was also beside our room too. So I went into my room and I see the bathroom window open, and the bathroom was all wet. Someone had taken a shower. So they stalled us to clean our room because they rented it out while we were gone. The mosquitoes ate us alive. Our faces swelled. We looked like we had the plague. Owner no help.
I did not like anything about this hotel.

United StatesThe mosquitoes will eat you alive and you will keep those huge bites for 3 weeks. The horses and camels with their water troughs are kept in that area. Mosquitoes will always be bad every month of the year. The place is dirty. You have to drag your luggage down an alley that is filled with cat and dog poop. Camel and horse dung. The male cats that live at the hotel will keep you up at night with their screams and fights in the stairwells. The owner is a joke who does not understand English. She had to use a teenage boy to translate through. She is perfectly fine with all the filth. Rented our room out while we went to Luxor. Read other review I left. BAD!!!!

CanadaIt was a really bad experience. I left after the first night. The place was dirty from the front door to the top. The entrance was dark and dirty. In front of my room I had a used, dirty, stained mattress. Totally disgusting. The room was dirty. The walls were stained. The switches were broken. The TV connection shorted when plugged in. The toilet seat was broken. And while I was sleeping some of the paint on the ceiling fell off. Horrible place. The room across the hall from mine was open and the stray cats were lying around and I imagine it could have been like that in my room.
