Excellent owner Mahmoud. Wonderful manager Esra. Excellent housekeeper Dua. Great all-around assistants Yusuf and Ahmed. If I wrote any name wrong I apologize! Because really they are wonder people and helpful in every way. The hotel room is comfortable and clean with all amenities. And even has a view of the great pyramids! I highly recommend Pyramids Top Inn. You will experience great Egyptian hospitality here.

    Everything was great!

Nice location very close to the local entrance to the Pyramids. They gave me an upgrade for the room.

The restaurant/bar upstairs is very expensive (4€ for a bad coffee). But you can still enjoy the view of the Pyramids from the terrace outside the restaurant.

Pyramids Top Inn was a special, unique, jewel situated just seconds from the great Pyramid of Giza and the Spinx. The accommodation was cozy, comfortable and saturated with the beautiful, and rich culture of Egypt. All my senses were heightened and excited to be in this mesmerizing country. My stay was like a home away from home as the hotel served the best Egyptian breakfast, healthy and satisfying everyday. The staff was like family, so sweet, professional and kind from the time of my arrival to my departure, Mamo and the family crew gave me world class service and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Esra was AMAZING and just exceptional, hands down the best tour guide I have had internationally, she introduced me to the hidden gems of Egypt as we traversed through this marvelous ancient and historical city. I have truly fallen in Love with the country thanks to the loving and kind welcome of this warm and passionate group of people whom I now call FAMILY!! thank you guys so much EVERYTHING WAS PRICELESS! I will definitely be back

The area looks hectic, however hotel is a breathing spot in that chaos. Personnel are very helpful. Rooms are more than enough. Refurbished building interior.

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were very understanding about our late check-in, provided great information about local activities, and even helped us plan the rest of our trip across Egypt. Thanks to the advice of our host, we booked flights to Aswan and had an unforgettable experience too, something we wouldn’t have considered without his suggestion. The view from the room was incredible, especially from the top floor. A good location, with shops and good restaurants a short walk away. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. We enjoyed our stay, without a doubt this will be our only choice when we visit again.

Nice family hotel 50 metres from Pyramids entry. Magnificent view, tasty egyptian breakfast. Very kind and helpfull people. Great value for money!

We had a problem with the hot water in the bathroom. The area was not so good but nothing to be afraid of. Don't take a taxi form there, go to the main road 200m away and order an Uber.

Amazing views, directly next to the entrance to the pyramids, great staff and beautiful breakfast. Totally recommend

Needs few touch ups and maintenance there and then but nothing to ruin your experience.

Great location - the pyramids right in front of us. Nice room, heating air conditioning - handy - comfy beds and linen.

Everyday the same breakfast - after 4 days really annoying. Noisy reception - people laughing , playing video games all nights, - you can hear everything.

I was particularly impressed by the care of the manager Esra and the receptionist. They looked after us throughout our stay, providing more far beyond expectations. Esra was an exceptional guide during the 2 days of visits, providing amazing stories about the places visited. Thank you all for the care shown during our days together. We will definitely be back

The hotel is small. It is on the last floor. It's renovated but not finished yet. The breakfast is really tasted and good quantity. They have a cute white dog on the roof and a 🦜 that is really beautiful. It is a great deal for the price and the view to the pyramids is as good as in other Hotels in the area. It's a good place for solo female travelers.

The bad is that the TV is not working and there is not much space for the luggage.

We have a good view of pyramid inside the room and a balcony to just watch the pyramid and the busy streets. It is just a minute walk to entrance to pyramid. Esra, the manager, is really friendly. The best part is the breakfast at the rooftop with view of pyramid! It is a busy street during the day but really silent at night.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights to visit the pyramids. It’s a family-friendly hotel, and the welcome was warm and inviting. The breakfast was excellent and varied each day. A bonus: you can enjoy your meal while admiring the stunning view of the pyramids. There are plenty of restaurants around the area to choose from, and there’s always someone available to assist you when needed. A special thank you to Lala (I hope I spelled his name right!) who welcomed us late at night with a big smile and was always there to help us navigate during our stay. Keep up the great work 👏🏾!

    1. The WiFi didn’t worktime. 2. It can be noisy early in the morning. 3. There’s no elevator, but the staff is happy to help carry your luggage.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, nice breakfast too! My favorite part was drinking my morning coffee / tea and just looking at the pyramids. :)

The bathroom smelled terribly. Due to technical issues (as they said) I did not get the room I asked for, instead of having a balcony my room’s window was facing an ongoing construction work in another hotel at the other side of the road. They said since I booked it with a discount they cannot compensate me in any ways. I still strongly disagree with this approach but I stayed, at 10 pm I was not in the mood to hunt for a new hotel. All in all I did not regret it, in spite of the above inconveniences, because as mentioned the staff was nice and I was out mostly.

We liked everything about our stay. The hotel location is amazing, we could not get enough of the mesmerizing pyramids view. The staff were out of this world. Super welcoming, kind and generous. We cannot stress this enough. Mahmoud the owner is amazing person. Isso our lovely guide was a gem and made our stay extra special. I totally understand other people reviews about the family bond you build with the staff at this hotel. Hob, Mahmoud’s small pup at the hotel is the cutest thing. My 10 year old daughter fell in love with it and wanted to cut our sight seeing activities short everyday so she can go back to the hotel to play with Hob. Highly recommended hotel for the amazing staff and location by the pyramids. We would return to the same place at a heartbeat next time we visit Cairo

Pros: 1. The staff/owners were very nice and accommodating! 2. Good location if you want to be close to the Pyramids. Only 2 min walk to the entrance. 3. Good views of the Pyramids. 4. Comfy mattress and pillows. Would recommend for short stays where you want to be close to the Pyramids.

Cons: 1. Wifi didn't work at all which was super frustrating. Apparently it is common in the hotels around the area. 2. Room's a bit old and run down. 3. Water sometimes didn't work, and the shower makes the toilet floor very wet. 4. Our TV didn't work. 5. All stairs, no elavator. Owners did help us carry our luggage going down.

I can't even put into words how to rate this hotel. The feelings I have from this visit will stay with me for the rest of my life. I didn't feel like I was just staying in a hotel; I felt like I was living in the middle of a family. I went on trips with them, and they were the best trips I've ever had. Esraa is the best guide you could wish for :-). I had the honor of having long and insightful conversations with Mahmoud, which left a deep impact on me. The room was beautiful, clean, with a gorgeous view. The breakfast was truly fantastic, and the view during breakfast is worth every penny. This place is a gem not only in Egypt but also in the world. This year, I visited over 20 hotels in 8 different countries, but nothing will probably ever compare to this one, and when I return, it will be because of them :-)

Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. The room has all you need for a great stay. The views are priceless! What made my stay here was the help, care and kindness from Mahmood, Esraa and Yousuf. I was welcomed like family.

It can be a little noisy but ear plugs work well.
