Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We had a wonderful stay at Hammis Pyramids View Hotel. Exceptionally clean. Great position and as the name suggests -- pyramid views. We were lucky enough to stay in a family room and had amazing views of the pyramids to welcome us each morning. As an added bonus, all staff are friendly and helpful. Special mention must go to Umm Mohammed for cleaning and keeping our room in pristine condition, making our stay so comfortable and for helping us throughout our stay. Also to Magad the driver who always maintained a smile and was an excellent and safe driver, who also assisted my elderly uncle whilst we were out on day trips. And special thanks to the incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, sincere and big-hearted guide, Mohammed Al Gabry (former Thomson Holiday guide). Who is an experienced Egyptology guide with a wealth of experience and knowledge, who speaks excellent English and went above and beyond to teach us so many interesting facts. He accompanied us on the excellent range of trips the hotel has on offer; go on them and you will not be disappointed. Finally, thanks to all the hotel staff who we met, all were polite and helpful. I just wish that I could have seen all of them on our last day, to thank them personally. I highly recommend this hotel, from its excellent rooms to its excellent service. But especially the first-class staff team and the owner.

The staff is really friendly and helped us a lot with everything we needed. The place is very near to the pyramids, just 5 minutes walking until the pyramids entrance. There are a lot of restaurants, markets very near and you have good options. The hotel offers differents tour so I really recommend to ask them for the tours because they have really good and cheap deals. The roof top is amazing and you can see the pyramids

Staff were lovely. Room was well priced. We ordered the kofta meal for 2 in the evening as we arrived late and that was great. There is a small elevator that you can use for bags/ go to the 3th floor and roof terrace

Navigation to property was slightly confusing took 5 mins extra but simple once found.
