KuwaitThe hotel is going through renovation which is necessary as the hotel rooms and other areas such as gym and spa are very old. At checkout however the male receptionist was a little rude which did spoil my departure somewhat. Apart from that it was a great experience.
Fantastic service. This is the 6th time I have stayed here in 10 years and the service I received this time was excellent. Especially at the beach and reception bar. Very friendly and accommodating staff. House keeping and room service was also very good. The food at the Italian restaurant I found to be much improved on last time I stayed.

United KingdomUnfortunately, I don't have a very good impression of this hotel, namely the fact that in booking we only see one hotel but it is divided into two hotels, one old and one less old.When I arrived at the hotel the receptionist arrogantly told me that I had booked the hotel with a mountain view. I tried to explain to him that on Booking.com we don't have the option to choose. He replied curtly that if I wanted to stay in the other hotel I would have to pay 55 pounds sterling per night.I had already paid too much for a room that I chose on booking which was totally different from the room I received.I slept in that old hotel that night, where I was bitten by a bedbug at night, then the next day at 10:00 I went to talk to the main manager.I explained to the manager that I didn't get what I paid for and he tried to resolve the issue and instead of £55 I paid £30 per night so I could move to a somewhat decent hotel.I just now read other reviews and saw that other people complained about the same problem as me and I think this is a STRATEGY of the hotel to get much more money per room.In the new room received in the new building everything was ok and the bed very comfortable. The attached photos are from the old hotel and have nothing to do with the photos on Booking.com. Unfortunately I do not recommend this hotel.

EgyptArrival: Waited over 15mn to check in, because although plenty of staff around none came to do check in and left only one guy who took his sweet time with the person before me. For a 5 star, no welcome drink or quick check-in is disappointing. Oh, and does the guy not eventually check me in by saying I'm in their resort a cross the road, but not offering anyone to help direct or carry luggage etc. And then getting mad at me, after I heard him say "wait" as I was about to leave by asking "what's your problem? It's across the road 1 minute". So turns out if you booked mountain, it's opposite where Google takes you. There at least they had a welcome drink and several people behind the counter; I had my card and was in my room faster than waiting at the other side. It may not be fancy (not an international 5 star, more like a solid 3/3.5), but it's a solid choice. Big pools and activities, great for kids too, rooms are clean and well kept with a small patio/balcony. Food: A buffet dinner (which was fine, nothing extraordinary) for 750 pounds (if not included). There's so such thing as putting it in your room though, you better have your cards or cash ready and pay before you leave. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice as well, and they change some items every day so you don't get tired of the same thing all the time. Location: far from the promenade/restaurants/cafés (25min walk in full sun, no shade). If you want an all inclusive and not have to worry, this is a great option as you can use the beach from the same hotel on the other side of the road, but less great if you're there to dive or be downtown. Service: while typical Egyptian slow, staff are kind and very helpful.

KuwaitThey didn’t allow cars to come inside which meant we had to walk all the way out of the property which was a little inconvenient when we arranged pick up. Their breakfast boxes also need an upgrade, because it would just be bread and a banana and a juice. A little disappointing given their breakfast buffet was so good. Finally, we had a problem with payments as they forgot to send the card machine up many times when we ordered food or when they delivered laundry. They also didn’t have proper English-speaking staff as they did not understand what feminine/ sanitary pads meant when we asked for them. And we found their request to pay for laundry immediately upon delivery a bit annoying. They even asked us to come down to the reception immediately and pay for it, which is very unprofessional for a 5-star hotel. Most hotels, even 3-star ones we have stayed at give you the option of paying at check-out. Overall, the stay was very good with only these few hiccups.
Amazing location with both mountain and pool views. The staff was super friendly, they allowed us to check-in earlier and also upgraded us to pool view at no extra cost. The room was a very good size and has all facilities. The food was good, especially the breakfast, with a lot of variety everyday. Their private beach is amazing, with a lot of water activities available to purchase at the resort itself.
