the beds could have been a bit comfier but i believe they are upgrading the rooms currently so I don't think this will be an issue in future.

We had the most amazing stay at Sphinx House in Cairo! From the moment we arrived, Ali, Youseff, and Farouk made us feel so welcome - their hospitality really went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were always ready with a smile, great conversation, and helpful tips for exploring the area. And of course, we can’t forget Candy, their sweet dog, who instantly won our hearts and made the place feel even more like home. 🐶 The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and genuine — exactly what you hope for when staying somewhere new. We left with big smiles, full hearts, and new friends. Couldn’t recommend Sphinx House more highly! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you want to experience the real Giza and the Egyptian hospitality you have to visit Sphinx house! The rooms are beautiful decorated, the pool with the amazing view on the pyramid is top but the best of all is the hospitality and the kindness of the owners and of the staff. Yousef, Mustafa, Farouk and all the other staff thank you for everything. Ali and Nora I really don't have words to express my gratitude for your hospitality!!!!

Staying at Sphinx Guest House was an absolutely magical experience. The location is unbeatable — waking up to a direct view of the Great Pyramid was like a dream come true. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with beautiful touches in every corner that reflect the spirit of Egypt. What really made our stay special was Ali, the host. He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and passionate about making our visit memorable. From organizing sunrise camel rides by the pyramids to recommending hidden local spots and even arranging private tours, Ali went above and beyond. It felt like staying with a friend who genuinely cares.

The hotel is new, very clean, and nicely designed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the pool with a direct view of the pyramids was definitely a highlight. Ali and his team were kind, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. They organised airport pick-up and drop-off for us, which made everything easy and convenient. They also helped arrange tours to the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and even to the White Desert. If you're looking for a well-located, friendly place to stay near the pyramids, Sphinx House is an excellent choice.

Its really horrible and the hotel premises is not as seen in the photograps uploaded in booking.com. The Location of the hotel is very very horrible and all good reviews seen in booking.com are complete scam. It's really CHEATING by giving such paid reviews by the host himself. Service of complimentary breakfast is very poor I happened to wait for 2 hours to get complementary breakfast since 8 am and was served with very poor breakfast of the choice of hotel people. They have charged excessive amount for providing tour taxi service to visit pyramids and to visit Alexandra This hotel has to be removed from Booking.com forthwith.

I wish I stayed for longer!

Sphinx House is truly a hidden gem in Giza. The location is unbeatable, you’re right by the pyramids, but it’s the warmth and attention to detail that make this place so special. The whole space is spotless, beautifully maintained, and the amenities are everything you could hope for (the pool is such a lovely touch!). Ali, who owns the place, is incredibly kind and attentive, he made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. The staff are also some of the kindest and most welcoming I’ve ever met, so friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. It honestly felt more like staying with family than at a hotel. The energy of the space is so calming, peaceful, grounding, and full of heart. The rooms are immaculate and so thoughtfully kept. I had the most peaceful, uninterrupted sleep every night. I can’t recommend this place enough! Whether you’re visiting for the history, the views, or just to relax, Sphinx House is the perfect home away from home. I’ll definitely be back!
