Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainI had a really good stay in sunset guest house. Abdallah and his father are really kind. They showed me the place around Elephantine island and made sure I was the most comfortable in any way. I strongly recomend you to eat in their restaurant next to the nile. The views are beautiful, and the place is cosy. they have a lot of traditional dishes and drinks that you can choose as menu and everything is amazingly cook!! You'll enjoy a peaceful meal next to the nile.

United KingdomThe room was very spacious, clean with very comfortable beds and crisp clean bed sheets. The air-conditioning and fan kept the room as cool as you would like. The bathroom was a good size with as much hot water as you needed and the balcony was a pleasant place to sit as the evening cooled. The breakfast provided was amazing too and there was a nice breeze on the upstairs terrace to sit and eat. Overall this is a great value for money guest house, family run and a great way to support local business.

United StatesThis property is very close to the Nile and has a rooftop that overlooks the water. There are also boats for transport and attentive staff to help with all of your needs. The room is also very nice with comfortable beds, bedding, and fresh towels. The owner is available onsite, very friendly , and breakfast was included with my stay. WiFi is available and several options for excursions are near by. The photos shown on this site are an accurate description of what to expect!

TunisiaThe guest house was located on the west side of Elephantine Island, deeply rooted in the Nubian quarters and 5 minutes ( by walking ) from the Taxi boat station. Thus this makes it the perfect spot for discovering all the landmarks and monuments in Aswan and the surrounding islands.
