How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewIt was a real all-inclusive experience and all the staff was there to make you feel like home. My kids were all satisfied with hotels facilities whereas I as a single enjoyed the silence at isolated zones. Guess relations worked great especially a special thanks to Faride, who became a part of the family during our stay. Mr Islam was too kind to arrange a well located stay for us to compensate the problem we experienced because of booking.com. The chef of Ala Carte Restaurants Derya, did an amazing job the Brasilian Restaurant was over qualified then my expectations. And Doctor was a real nice guy find a quick solution for my son. Thank you guys a lot.
Dinner menu at the Main Restaurant could be served more alternatively since everybody was following the same grills, you may make an observation week, which meals are preferred more and can arrange according.

She was always there when we needed something, handled every request with care and a smile, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Her support made all the difference. We felt like VIP guests thanks to her! The overall experience was smooth and memorable — we’ll definitely come back.
The only downside was the bar service — unfortunately, most bartenders didn’t know how to properly make cocktails and often added too much alcohol, which made the drinks unpleasant.

Very aged , must have upgrade , room not cleaned and definitely food service not great . I am deeply sorry to write such thing due to the service given by the staff . Verified reviewFirst of all, a big thank you to all the Swissôtel staff, especially Monica and Ayman from customer relations. They got in touch with me even before I left Istanbul and were incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived at the hotel. We truly felt their warmth and support throughout our stay. Thanks to them, we had a really lovely holiday. I definitely recommend it!
I believe there are a few areas that could be improved. These are not major issues or serious problems, but rather points that I think should be considered for maintaining high service quality in the long run: 1 - Repetitive Food Options: Of course, it's understandable that some meals may repeat due to the nature of hotel dining. However, what I specifically want to highlight is the importance of maintaining the cold chain. On the first day, the melon and fried dough (pişi) I had on my plate were unfortunately spoiled. The staff handled the situation promptly and professionally once we pointed it out, which we appreciated. Still, I believe it's an important detail that requires more attention. 2 - À la Carte Restaurant: While the atmosphere and service in the à la carte restaurant—where guests go with a reservation—are truly great, even excellent, the food unfortunately does not meet the same standard. I genuinely think that the quality of meals at the à la carte restaurants should be improved to better reflect the overall experience. 3 - Transfer Services: Unfortunately, the hotel does not currently offer complimentary transfer services. Considering that there are limited flights to the Sharm region, offering such a service to guests in the future could be a valuable and appreciated addition. (Perhaps this is something not included in Booking.com reservations, but still worth considering.) Thank you again to the entire team for their hospitality and efforts. We truly appreciated our stay and hope to see continued improvements that match the otherwise excellent experience.

Verified reviewMonica helped us with everything. Monica is very sweet, smiling and very attentive. The food in the Greek restaurant of the hotel is very delicious. The shrimp pasta is a must try. Derya the chef is personally interested. All the food is delicious. Your first choice should be the Greek tavern. If you like sushi you should go to the Sky lounge one evening. Shrimp tempura and sushi are very delicious. I recommend you to eat only salmon in the Italian restaurant. In general the hotel is nice, the personal is friendly and attentive.

Verified reviewThe breakfast and all other meals were just very good, satisfactory and large selection. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. By the way, once again a huge thank you to our customer representative Monica who were all so very helpful and attending and looked after us very well.
Late at night there were mosquitos and flies which were displeasing

It's very peaceful, well maintained and the team is extremely helpful, polite and cheerful. Checking in was very fast, monica the guest relations is very professional and accommodating. Overall everything was just perfect and we cannot wait to be back.
