I booked the stay for my parents. Fellow guests were unfortunately of a very low quality. They would yell, litter and behave in an uncivilized manner. My family could not sleep because of them.

Housekeeping was a disappointment. Twice, I left the “Please clean my room” sign on the door, and when I came back, I found it flipped to “Do not disturb.” It became clear that they were avoiding cleaning unless I was present, presumably to receive a tip. This felt dishonest. I reported it to reception, and fortunately, the issue was resolved quickly. The beach itself isn’t ideal. It’s a closed sea, not an open beach. Although it’s close and convenient, it doesn’t offer a great seaside experience. I’d recommend going to Al Fanar beach nearby for a much better beach day. At the beach, the same tipping pattern continued – the sunbeds were left dirty, and staff would wait for guests to arrive before cleaning them, again expecting a tip. The all-inclusive package was misleading. It did not include snacks at all, which is very unusual and disappointing for an all-inclusive offering. The buffet lacked variety – very few options in terms of chicken, meat, or fish. The menu didn’t really change much between meals, which made it repetitive.

The overall accommodation was very satisfying and definitely worth the price, especially with the 40% Genius discount I received. Special thanks to Islam at the reception, who was very professional and welcoming. He kindly upgraded us to a pool view room with a balcony and even a partial sea view, which made the stay much more enjoyable. Shoutout to Mostafa and Noor at the restaurant – both were incredibly polite, respectful, and hospitable. Their warm attitude and attentiveness added a lot of value to the overall experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view and all the essential amenities. The hotel location is good – the beach is just a short 2-minute walk away. The taste of the food was surprisingly good for a 3-star hotel. Although it lacked variety, the quality and flavor were on point. They do a daily entertainment show that is very good especially if you are non Egyptian, you will enjoy it Overall, it was a comfortable stay with standout service from some amazing staff members. A few improvements would make the experience even better, but it’s still a great budget-friendly choice. I would definetly go back again.

The food when there was any. Catered to russian tourists only. They needed 2 melons and 4 Oranges a person. So nothing left for someone who needs just a piece of anything. So we ate elsewhere. Soho and old market.

We didn't have any bad experiences for one night with breakfast.

The hotel is actually much better than some of the negative reviews say. The facility is outdated but well maintained and clean. The food and drinks are quite ok for the price you pay. Since we only stayed one night we can't say much about it for a longer stay but we were welcomed nicely at the reception and all the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. If you are not too demanding and don't want to pay a lot for accommodation this hotel is a good choice

Internet was very very slow, like the speeds we had 10-15 years ago. You should buy a local sim, very cheap, for 8USD you can get 10-15 GB, very fast, good pick-up. Food choices are mostly carrots and cabbage. Good if you on diet.

With a little more effort this could be a fantastic place. Food in the restaurant needs more tenderness, spices and and attention. The bare area lacks atmosphere.

Nicely located, just a short walk walk from the old town with the beautiful mosque and market area. Nice pools, own beach. It all is a bit outdated, brings you back 20 years. Still the experience did not suffer from this.
