Reviews of Turquoise Pyramids Gate Hotel City Centre 3 stars

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and responsive. On top of that, they would check with me every morning if I needed something extra. The reception is open 24/7 as well as the restaurant which makes a trip go much more smoothly. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and clean. The location is very close to the pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum.

Great staff and location, cheap hotel with Air conditioning , they had a nice yard as well., the hotel was safe as well

The location is great with nice views of the pyramids from the balcony. Esraa was so lovley, really hospitable!

Two nights without electricity or water, no generator or emergency water tank.. it was a f**kn nightmare!

I can't say I liked, I'd say I loved everything about the place. The location, convenience and affordability was the best. I had the privacy that I wanted, my room was air-conditioned with an electronic water machine, hot showers and a comfortable bed. Place was secure with a garden in front ,the seated area had actually grass and allowed for a nice breeze to channel through. Some interesting restaurants were also very close, I enjoyed the Rooftop restaurant with its view, ambience and affordable food, mains and desserts were awesome. I would definitely be staying at the Turquoise Hotel come my next visit.

Beautiful building and kind and caring hospitality. Roof top view of pyramids knock out! Garden green and cool, a rarity in Egypt!

Very near a lot of tourists and traffic going to the pyramid sites , but that comes with the area.

I made the reservation for someone else who was traveling all night by train. And they were really helpful to do an early check-in.

Very nice room with great air conditioning and a balcony. We slept very well. The hotel staff were very helpful and assisted us with everything we needed, including transportation. The location is amazing, with a rooftop terrace that offers a fantastic view of the pyramids.

The bathroom was a bit smelly

The Location and the Staff were amazing Specially Mr Moatasem the Sudanese young man and the Receptionist was wonderful and very Responsive!

Water through the Tap should be Stronger!

2 minute walk to the entrance to the pyramids, this took much longer as you had to avoid all the people trying to get you to look into their shops or asking if you need a taxi

There was nowhere to place toiletries in the bathroom. There was a corner shelf in the actual shower, but nowhere around the sink to put toothbrushes etc. these couldn’t be put on the sink as it was wet due to the tap not going fully over the basin

Esraa, the guest relations representative, is very helpful and professional. The room is big and nice. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back.

Esraa, Gamila and the team are very friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble. This is my second stay at this hotel as it is very central for everything. The roof top terrace is perfect for amazing views of the pyramid or enjoying a wonderful breakfast or meal. I am always made to feel comfortable here and receive a very warm welcome. The garden are well maintained and very beautiful. You would never know that outside this peaceful haven you are in central Giza.

The Location is amazing The Staff were Wonderful Specially Mr. Mohamed Ehab the Receptionist! Mr. Moamen the Hotel's manager was a Very Friendly person and Kind! I Loved my Stay there so much as an Egyptologist and Tourguide in Egypt since more than 9 years!!!

The Water from the Tap was not Strong which made me Disappointed and also the Water from the Shower was Weak!!! I am Sure they will take care of that very soon, i have just told them and they promised that they will Solve this Issue in all the Hotel's Room Soon!
