Reviews of AC Hotel Málaga Palacio by Marriott 4 stars

Excellent location for access to the main city and the beach. The rooftop pool was lovely during the day for a quick dip after exploring the city and at night it was great to have a drink and enjoy the sunset. The rooms were clean, spacious and airy. We were upgraded to a balcony and a cake was left in the room as we were travelling for my mum’s birthday - a lovely touch. The bathroom is spotless and the shower and bath have great pressure. Great facilities in the room such as an iron and ironing board, safe, loads of hanging space, coffee machine with pods replaced every day, tea, Korres products, slippers and robes! Couldn’t ask for more really!

The rooftop bar does get quite busy at sunset! Understandable as the hotel bar is recommended online and in guide books and leaflets. They do have priority for hotel guests. However, the queue for the bar is quite long and there aren’t a huge amount of seats. Not a complaint just something to have in mind!

The location , friendly professional staff, great food and drink. We also liked the very clean, comfortable rooms that were spacious. We also found the views from the Terrace were spectacular when dining.

I felt the terrace and pool area was a bit cramped with lack of loungers when sunbathing. I appreciate it is a limited space area.

Roof bar was a little disappointing at one point, service was slow, and when we did get service they never charged us, and then came running after me rudely talking my shoulder in front of everyone

Everything and the pillows and bed were so comfortable. The rooftop vibe is unrivalled; absolutely superb and all the staff, without exception, are so lovely and so kind. Thank you.

The first floor coffee bar should be open more hours. For drinks and snacks.

Location was perfect. Having a pool was fantastic. Having a roof top bar in the evening was an added bonus.

The room was very business like but it was fine as we were out and about all the time.

Room was a little shabby as compared to previous stay when Room was great. Had to ring down on 2nd day for toilet rolls as they had not been replaced. Lovely hotel, some rooms are better than others. At this price point all rooms should be great.

All the staff I came into contact with were friendly, courteous and helpful. This was particularly the case with the lady who runs the breakfast service. She really is exceptional, cool, calm and extremely pleasant. The breakfast was very good. The room and balcony likewise.

Nothing, it was a great stay once again.
