Very good convenient location to explore the city ,quiet and clean ,and the lovely lady on the reception helped me get my phone back after I left it in the taxi that I arrived in! I would definitely stay again ..oh and the resteraunt/bar downstairs is excellent too.

Staff was very nice

On the floor was cigarette butts. Looks like no-one washed the floor. Room smells tobacco

Our room was bright and clean. Staff were flexible and very helpful. The location is a stone's throw from the quiet Alcaravaneras beach, which has a view on to a port, and a 15 min walk from the lively Las Canteras beach. The busy shopping street Avenida Jose Mesa y Lopez is 10 mins by foot. Ruben's cafe on the ground floor (separate business) serves fantastic tortilla, I especially recommend the blood-sausage tortilla and Basque beer. There is a regular and cheap bus service on the main road (GC-1).

Didn't like the online check in, I was busy enough with preparations for the trip without an extra job, but the staff were flexible and check in was carried out on arrival.

Terrible dusty room without proper window, but with terrible plastic smell inside.

We always stay at low budget places. The place is very cheap, so don't expect high quality. Location is excellent, near beach, restaurants, bus, center. Room was cleaned once, we stayed 7 days. Room was OK and clean, quality is not high but satisfactory. Most of the rooms dont have a bathroom/shower, they have a shared bathroom/shower in each floor. Joined kitchen was ok (not many plates or utensils and people dont wash after themselves fast), the 4th floor balcony was nice.

We booked a room with our own shower/bathroom. Only negative was that the bathroom didn't have a real door, it has more like foldable screen, so you can hear when your partner is on the toilet.. Sometimes the other quests where being noisy so definately bring your earplugs with you so you can sleep, you can hear sounds from other rooms very easily. There is no AC, only a fan. We went there in November so it wasnt too hot, but I couldnt imagine staying there any other time when it's actually hot without the AC. All in all; if you arent too picky, it's a nice low budget option. If you arent used to low quality hostels, dont pick this one. We were statisfied with it, but we have had a lot better low quality hostels as well. Reception isnt always open, it has weird and very limited opening hours, but we were answered fast via whatsapp. Wifi doesnt work on the 3th floor at all, it seemed to work better on the 2nd floor.

I sustained an injury and requested a late check out. Ha! Not a chance. If I'd asked for a €1 million!🤣

Not super clean, fluff on the floors in the corners, a few long hairs on the bed, same in the shared bathroom, but maybe to he expected in a hostel that has a high turn over and a wide variety of different guests. My room was a bit noisy, some guests don't give a s**t, a TV or radio was playing quite loud in one room till 3.00 in the morning, and guests dont talk they shout. I was next door to the toilet and the cistern was broken the water didn't shut off after a flush and was constantly running, in the end I turned off the supply tap.

My room was ok. For the money you can’t complain. The roof terrace was nice. At the end of the day it’s a hostel so you wld expect much. I’d stay again for sure.

This accommodation felt like being in a prison, extremely basic room on the 3rd floor, having to walk up 6 flights of stairs, felt unsafe if there was a fire . One bathroom shared with at least a dozen other people. Next to a motorway that's noisy pretty much all the time. If you're looking for nightlife go somewhere else as this is in a very drab boring neighbourhood. Definitely do not recommend-supposed to be 2 star,this is no star Maybe the staff there think of it differently, but only because they probably live in a bigger prison cell
