The views from the hotel was spectacular

The property had been put together with so much respect and love. The decoration was so fitting to the property

There was nothing we didn’t like

Food amazing! Have never had such a lovely breakfast in any other hotel. Dinner was a joy and the views from terrace breathtaking.

The road leading up to hotel is not for the fainthearted driver.

Everything is absolutely perfect! From the warm welcome upon our arrival to the genuine hugs of friendship as we left. This really is a tranquil retreat with the most stunning views, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and fun staff. They made us feel truly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible. So lovely to have home cooked local produce in such an idyllic setting. We stayed for a week but wished it could have been longer. We will definitely return.

Fantastic staff, beautiful location, amazing chef, wonderful cool saltwater pool. The natural environment and views were phenomenal. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and they changed our room (even though they were fully booked) so that there were the least amount of stairs to negotiate. The room was very quiet, great bed, great shower., We didn't expect to have dinner there every night but the food, service and view were so fabulous that we did eat there every night. They give you the menu each morning and you can decide whether you want to have dinner there that night. They created an individualized menu around our dietary restrictions. Breakfast was pretty terrific, too. Owners are caring, friendly and hands on.

I'm an over-packer (sorry) and also brought along laptop and files and writing material I was working on. So I had a lot of "stuff" with me and had to rearrange things in the room a bit to find places for my things. However, I adjusted and got creative so it was no problem. Also, the gracious staff helped us get everything to our room.

A very nice hotel, set in beautiful countryside. A lovely room, great food, a nice pool and friendly staff.

The large pot plant did not provide enough privacy between our terrace and that of the neighbouring one.

Absolutely everything, the room was amazing, the staff take the extra step to make sure we have the best stay possible. Arranged a great horse riding trip for us, gave us lots of tips and at every step they were really friendly and kind. We felt truly welcomed.

Seriously there is nothing I would change.

Place was beautiful and loved sitting by the pool looking at the view. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with it own private deck to sit out on. Food for both breakfast and dinner was great.

The access road is very narrow and winding. Although there is not a lot of traffic on the road it is quite a challenging road. But worth the effort.

This was our third stay at this hotel and it never fails to disappoint! The location is picturesque, the staff go above and beyond, the food is incredible and the atmosphere is the definition of chill - we love it here, it’s our happy place. Thank you Patricia and team for making this our favourite holiday location every year. Cannot recommend enough!

In no particular order, we really liked the following things: the fig tree that graces the dining area (so delicious), Patricia the proprietor of the hotel and much of her staff, namely Begoña, Ana and Ariadne, are totally wonderful and attentive, the swimming pool area, the beautiful breakfast, the surrounding landscape and hikes along the river, the small size of the property (10-15 rooms)…

Beautiful property with insane views, delicious breakfast and evening meals and super helpful and attentive staff. We had a superior room with terrace, up near the restaurant and it was gorgeous. It's a 20 min very steep walk down into the town - OK if you're fit.

All good, nothing to complain about, this place is beautiful and great value for money

It felt like we were visiting friends here, not too many rooms in a lovely old house, spectacular views, exquisite food, friendly and professional staff.

The location, the food and the hikes were great as was the hospitality from Ariadna and Patricia. Catering was vegetarians was excellent - thank you. The people really make the place!

As others have said, the lack of privacy to the toilet door is a small problem. There could be some decaf coffee in the room & in the machine. But these are small suggestions. Sometimes at dinner the waitresses were very busy. We’d love to come back and stay for longer.

The rooms were superb and the view of the mountain exceptional. The hospitality provided by Patricia and Anna was fantastic. We felt like family from the moment we arrived. The dinner was also excellent set up with ambient lighting with the mountain as the backdrop .?

Excellent location, fabulous food (breakfast and evening meal) awesome staff, great wine list and best of all very quiet and tranquil. Room was lovely (7).

Would have been great to have a Nespresso machine in the room.

Maybe better curtains

The most perfect place I have ever stayed!! I almost don't want to write a review because everyone will want to go! :) This was my second time here, and it has become my sanctuary and my happy place, I plan to return every year if possible. The gourmet breakfast is delicious, with different options available every morning, fresh juices, fresh fruit, and excellent coffee! Dinner is fabulous with excellent service, tasty Michelin level food, beyond expectation! The place itself is perched up on top of the hill very close to a beautiful hiking trail called 'Monachil Los Cahorros' - (anyone can do this trail whether you want to do a shorter or longer route). The most tranquil and beautiful spot you will ever visit, whether its a solo trip like me or with family, friends or a loved one! The most amazing views from the hotel (which is a boutique sustainable hotel) - The bed was an absolute dream, and all the rooms are perfect, with beautiful detail! Muchisima gracias a Patricia, Manuel, Ariadna, Tatiana, Ana y Fran (and everyone else who works there too) - You all make this a special place!

Nada, nothing, no complaints ever! Just wish I could have stayed there longer :)
