Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The place itself is the kind of places you would find on Formigal. The room was correct to spend a couple of nights. I know they have better rooms. There's a swimming pool just in front of the hotel. The staff was very polite and if have to talk about someone, that would be the waiter on the restaurant, he was very polite and knew how to do his job very good. The restaurant food was good for the price we paid being on Formigal.

We had an upper room and it was way too hot there.

It's a little small and basic but sufficient and quite frankly it's all about the location. The local supermarket was closed at the end of June but I guess that's because it's a quiet time of year. However there is a small supermarket in the village below, just a 10 minute drive.
Beautiful location, great walks from the village and many more a short car ride away. Friendly staff on reception and car parking nearby.

The apartment was rather small and somewhat outdated. Bunk beds are fairly new and up-to-date, rest of the apartment older.
The location was located great, direct access to the mountains and good connection to the entire mountain region. In Formigal everything was accessible on foot, public swimming pool (free access via MIDI 3000) across the street. The apartment was somewhat outdated, however perfectly clean with made beds.

Provide salt and pepper - small thing but makes a big difference to self caters! Provide hand soap as well - not expensive but a hassle to carry around and makes a big difference to dirty travellers - and shows that accommodation has considered guests needs. Dog barking in another room - a bit annoying but eventually stopped.

Very nice apartment in a beautiful location. The Caffè in the ground floor is just awesome. Very affordable and delicious food. Very comfortable place to stay.

Sound insulation of the room is horrible. Also many noisy loud sounds from fridge, water heater. Almost no internet (very slow speed, only possible to send some emails, nothing to download or watch YouTube). Bad ventilation in the room - when you stay with 4 people you have no fresh air in the morning.

Room far too small for a family of 3. Once you get in your room, you find out in hotel welcome pack that once your 2 toilet rolls and 1 bin liner have finished you have to buy your own. I find that wrong on every level. We had a 4 day stay and this was not right. we felt nervous every time we had to use toilet roll and put our food waste in the bin. we run out of toilet paper the night before our lady day there. It’s catering for teenage school trips, school and collage trips, which I can see how it works but not families. No toaster or kettle in room so we had to fry our buttered bread on a frying pan to make toast for breakfast. Microwave at 2 meters high, so high that you had to stand on a stool in order to be able to put food or drink in it and so we had to heat our milk like this. I am 1.62cm tall. Tiny 19inch TV screen at 2 meters high too so no one could watch it from any position in the room. Very very noisy in the building, lots of loud, unruly shouting teenagers, hanging around in the public hallways and stairwells of the building until at least 11pm.
location and boot room, really roomy and convenient. very nice small balcony with no rain views. Supper hot showers, excellent heating.
