Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Nothing really to dislike. The bed was very comfy and clean.
This is a beautiful location and a lovely house. Stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The family was there to meet us and show us to our room.

The house was a little difficult for us to reach with our motorbikes as the road leading up to it was steep and curvy with gravel in paces. If you had a car, it would be fine, and the house had ample parking space once inside the grounds.
The views out of the dining room were stunning and the bed very comfortable,

Was cool at night but then got it to heat up with small heater.
The views were spectacular. Breakfast was delicious as we sat looking at the view. Onsite parking

The house dogs started barking early (4am) and didn't stop for 2 hours.
The room is split over 2 levels, with your sitting area and little balcony on first floor and your bedroom above that. The views were amazing, so much space and being able to use the terrace was a nice bonus. Breakfast was lovely with enough variety to suit most people and the host checked to see if we needed more of anything that was running out. The host was so lovely and after climbing the steep hill on our bikes, got us cold water, sat us in the shade and even bought around fresh figs from her tree.

Relative told us about this B&B, and we are so glad that they did. What a great spot. Amazing views of the little town and the way the fog envelops the town and recedes as if in a fairy tale. The room were more than spacious, and that were a great value for the price. Everything was clean and tidy. There were drinks and snacks available at any time and the breakfast options were just perfect before the start to our active days.

The approach road was a bit challenging.
The location is very scenic.The hostess was very welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable.

This is a property on the top of a mountain/hill. The view is incredible. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Outstanding breakfast with all kind of fruits, ham, cheese and sweet things. The rooms are big and nice equipped. We had a fireplace which made it very romatic too. I would stay there again, it is quiet central to visit the bask coast.

the breakfast was extremely basic. 2 hours after it we needed to stop to eat something :-( Common bathroom for a few rooms.

Very good breakfast Fruit Yogurths bread Cake Ham cheese Coffee and herbal teas. They make us feel so welcome, lovely hosts Will come back again. Room are very nice and Rustic deco, Could do with bigger towells. Wonderful place to stay.

Every morning so poor breakfast that we didnt eat them at all, went to the closest Cafetería. A household, while we werent at appartement, been in our room, didnt clean up, but had checked the room, left open balcony door, where easily could neibours come in. We didnt understand for what reason, didnt ask. That wasnt nice. And worst was shared bathroom, 4 rooms-1 bathroom, omg, in every room 2 or more people. That was nightmare. And wc was in the same bathroom. So, if somebody is in the shower, you cant get in wc.

the triple-room was half underground, with only 2 small windows and had a bit of an earthy smell. The private bathroom was not "en suite". The room was not (yet) equipped for 3 people, but didn't bother us.
Very nice location on a hill. Beautiful views every morning. Large room with comfortable beds and a practical kitchen.
