We were in room 229 which is above the gym. We were woken at 7am every morning by people using the gym, in particular the heavy weights and the ropes. We tried to change rooms as the noise was so intrusive, but the hotel were unable to facilitate our request. I would not recommend room 229 for that reason.

The location was excellent, only two hours from home yet it felt a world away! We didn’t leave the hotel as we wanted a totally relaxing break, which we got. All the staff we came into contact with were unfailingly cheerful and eager to help in any way. The beds are extremely comfortable and I liked the choice of pillows.

There were a few points we slightly disliked: - Although it is very conveniently located (close to the beach), it is also quite far (25 minutes minimum) walking to the village of Conil where most of the restaurants are. This means that if you don't have a car it makes it tricky for you to get there. - Maybe we were a bit picky but it was the first time going to a relatively fancy hotel with no ironing tools available. You only have the option to send your clothes to their (payable) service which I thought was surprising. - They also have a third pool which is advertised on booking (the sky pool - I believe) which also needs an extra investment for you to access it. - We stayed in this hotel from Sunday to Wednesday in this hotel, and there were quite a few restaurants and facilities that were simply closed during that timeframe which meant that basically we couldn't take advantage of the full offering of the hotel which maybe we failed to see in advance. - As for the littering, we prefer to actually have a proper blanket to sleep rather than simply a bed sheet to cover ourselves. The bed was still amazing and really comfortable though! Overall, some are small details which hopefully serve also as mere feedback to the hotel (for what it's worth), and the hotel was still nice although for the price invested we maybe thought we would get slightly better service. We thought that the staff at reception when we arrived weren't the nicest either. When we left, the lady was much nicer therefore it's more of an individual matter than rather one for the hotel. I still believe you can go to the hotel and enjoy some nice vacations!

This hotel offers great advantages! It is located super close to the Conil beach which is super convenient to go to. It also offers two pools which were super pleasant, very nice and we enjoyed spending time at the pool. The gym is also amazing and stands out since it has basically everything you need which is helpful if you want to combine a vacation with some sportive element. We also thought that the breakfast was quite extensive, offering many different options of food and the quality overall pretty decent. Nice hotel overall.

The only thing I can say that I didn’t like were the sun beds. They were a bit uncomfortable but other than that our stay was perfect.

Everything was lovely. The beach was a short walk away, both pools were really nice. Rooms were nice and clean, air-conditioning worked well.

Beautiful hotel for rest and relaxation. A few restaurants a walk away and more in the older town area. Beds were a great size and very comfortable, also had a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The pool is large and was very clean. The atmosphere around the pool was calm and relaxing. Good selection for breakfast.

After 5 days the food gets a bit same-y, but I think if you were there for a full week you would go out for dinner in Cadiz, or one of the paid for restaurants in the hotel (we were half board so had dinner in the buffet included).

Loved the location with the garden and pool, and then the beach a short walk away. Was great for running / gym in the morning and then lounging by the pool for the day.

Pity that the quality of the breakfast spread in the buffet restaurant was well below the high standards of the Hotel's other restaurants.

Staff was amazing very friendly and polite. Just couldn't do enough for you! We were allocated a room with a veranda with sun loungers just across from one of the pools. Enjoyed the privacy and the easy access to the pool. Brilliant! We also had lunch and dinner throughout our stay in the various restaurants and the food was incredible.

Quite disappointed with a special request. Asked for a bottle of red wine in my room to celebrate my 34th Wedding Anniversary and it never happened after being informed my request was approved and wouldnt be charged for it. Also thought there would be drinks in my room fridge only two small bottles of water

Our room had a pool view on the 3rd floor and we were on the ground by one of the pools. When we book again we will book first floor up ( 4th) as it's a bit of a walkway and not a lot of privacy on your balcony.

My husband and I have just returned back home to Benalmadena after a week's stay in the Barcelo Conil Playa. From the minute we walked into the hotel we were greeted by friendly happy and professional staff. Our room was great and the whole experience outstanding! Even though the hotel was busy being in August you would never know. There were plenty of sunbeds, seats and the pools never busy. The waitering staff in the dining room and the snack bar were very good and food first class. Rooms were very clean nothing was too much trouble from the cleaners. We will definitely be back!
