Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFridge freezer in the room
We loved our stay however my child is autistic and has a restrictive diet. We had originally booked a room with kitchenette as we needed a fridge freezer and cooking facilities to feed our child but we were given royal family level which was excellent however it was not suitable for our requirements. I would Definitely stay again royal level if the rooms were equipped with at least a fridge freezer. All of our child’s food had gone off due to storing in The minibar which isn’t suitable for keeping diary and meat cold. Only drinks. So we really struggled to feed our child at the complex even though we were all inclusive he wouldn’t eat the hotel food. So he was extremely hungry. It would be amazing if a fridge freezer would be in the total level rooms instead of a minibar.

United KingdomWe had an upper floor apartment, but there was no hand rail, just steps which my wife found awkward, not very safe if you have a knee problem. It was a non-smoking facility, which we found a bit discriminating. We were also put in a family section so a bit disappointed being two adults only. No WiFi connection possible, apparently a faulty system which did not get rectified.
Location, the Spar, close to the airport, options for meal choices, 3 buffet restaurants, a nice upgrade to the Royal level , Sunbed towels great idea. Very comfortable beds.

United KingdomWe paid extra to have a Junior Suite duluxe with sea view and hot tub. I chose this room type because it had a terrace with sunbeds it and I had read the reviews saying there are not enough sunbeds for the number of guests at the pool (definitely true). But our room (3025) and those alongside it did not get any sun on the terrace at any time during our stay (December). So it was completely pointless and a waste of money because the area could not be used for sunbathing. So if you are thinking of doing this, don't.
The hotel is nice. Lots of choice of places to eat, a spa, decent sized pool. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The whole resort was very clean. The beach area was nice and yellow sand rather than black. The resort had a good amount of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Alcoholic drinks in the hotel bars seemed reasonably priced.

United KingdomThe dinner buffet was poor. I recommend NOT doing the dinner. There are a lot of restaurants nearby.
The bed was super comfortable. There was live music right outside our terrace. Good shower. Dental kit and razor provided. Bathrob and slippers provided. There was a TV in the bedroom. Breakfast was good. Very reasonable price overall. We took a taxi from the airport, costing 16 Euro each way. Note that it's likely there will be a queue at the airport's taxi stand.

FinlandDuring the week once there was no water for 2 hours and once there was no electricity for a longer time. Near our hotel at the embankment there was a lot of garbage over the trash can during the whole week.
We liked the location near the sea and close to the center, the place was not crowded. The apartment was clean, the staff was friendly. Everything for snorkeling and tours was nearby.

United KingdomRooms exceptionally dark and hot tub is not as described. It’s a bath in the dark garden and not very private. The “hot tub” is actually a jacuzzi bath in the garden. You have to fill it yourself using the tap on the side. It took around 45mins to fill it. Your water also just gets cold after a while. It’s not really deep enough and there are only a few pathetic jets. It’s was a waste of money paying for this room and feel mislead. I messaged the hotel during the stay and didn’t get a reply. Hardly any natural Light in the room, needed lights on in the day. Nowhere to dry wet swim wear or towels. Sun bed in garden but wasn’t a nice place to sit, surrounded by very tall Dark grey walls. Felt a bit like a prison. Shower room was leaking and had damp wall. A bit of a strange layout too.
Nice location. Staff and breakfast service very nice. Good food but only had breakfast. Parking very close to rooms. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows.
