United KingdomThe hotel is not really that near anything so you either need a car or stay put for your time there (which we did). One really minor point is that the hot food in the buffet was not always that hot but that is a really monitor point on a really good stay.
Hotel was as we expected from the reviews. Calm and peaceful with a lovely ambiance. All the staff were superb (especially Laura on reception and Claudia in the restaurant) but all we encountered were great. We stayed half board for 6 days which felt about right. The selection and quality of food available for breakfast and dinner was excellent and was never overcrowded. Room was spotless with lovely balcony (we stayed in a junior suite). All in all a fab break and great value for money

United KingdomThere were additional benefits mentioned when booking the deluxe room but we didn't get any as this is only for a certain period of the year which could have been made more clear when booking. The kids weren't able to use the indoor swimming pool and the outdoors one weren't heated at all so unfortunately they couldn't swim.
The food was good but a bit limited, to be expected for the size of the hotel. The room was lovely and spacious and cleaned everyday to a good standard. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

From the minute we entered the hotel, the feeling of tranquility and luxury was evident everywhere. The check in was smooth as we had the option of booking in advance online which was an added bonus. The staff greeted us with a smile and nothing during the weekend was too much trouble. The room that we had was simply amazing. Huge bedroom, separate lounge and small kitchen. Bathroom had a large shower with amazing waterfall showerhead. Heated towel rail and very good toiletries. Excellent selection of food at both breakfast and evening meal which was of a very good quality and well cooked. The whole hotel is spotless and the service can only be described as first class. This hotel deserves every one of its five stars. The weather was quite chilly over the weekend but the hotel was warm and cosy. Again, I want to congratulate all the staff on their amazing service, from the cleaners to reception staff and waiters. We have never been made to feel so welcome in a hotel and we have travelled extensively. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be returning.

SpainWe paid for the 1 hour circuit spa but it was a disastrous experience. We were greeted by an unfriendly spa attendant. We arrived in room slippers and she scolded us for not bringing rubber slippers even though she was going to provide us some anyways. Then, we were using the spa at the same time as 6 other people which was so uncomfortable, the spaces were not so big. She didn't tell us where the lockers were were we could leave our belongings, nor where the toilets were, or to keep the noise low during the circuit so there were people who were making a LOT of noise. There was no clock inside the spa either so you don't know what part of your hour you're in or how long you had left. Overall I would not recommend the circuit spa. Of course we complained, and when it was a good thing they refunded us half.
Room was great, really clean and had good amenities. Breakfast was nice, options were pretty basic though.

Beautifully presented, receptionist was incredibly helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Room was superb. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice to suit all tastes.
