We arrived Tuesday night. Apartment keys were in a lock box. No problem with that. Reception did not open any day until Saturday evening. We couldn't get a kettle, toaster, safe etc. On Sunday , we got a call from a very irate lady saying we had not handed in our passports. I asked her how we were supposed to do this through a locked door. In the end , I e mailed them to her. When trying to put our luggage somewhere on the Tuesday of our departure, it was a nightmare. Reception was closed again. The cleaning lady , who was helpful to be fair, had to ring someone else to find out what to do. We managed to leave our luggage there as they guaranteed reception would be opened from 12 to 6. This was later changed to 12 to 5 No air conditioning, especially in the bedroom was a disaster

The pool bar is great but closed 2 days of the week we were there. Juan is brilliant

Steps, stairs and more steps. Bungalow it is not. Was relatively clean but maybe just a bit more attention. Still had rubbish in the bin. Dusty corners. No air con or fan had to be hired. Was offered an upgrade to apartment with balcony for £65. All apartments had a full balcony. Noise from bars was loud. Couple of days no reception or pool bar.

Location was perfect for commercial centre,shops,everything,the host was miserable but had no effect on us,it is an ideal place location wise,they did not clean it very well at all

Cockroaches, Upon entering the apartment we were faced with 2 cockroaches on the worktop, We disposed of them and found some bug spray in the cupboard and gave the place a really good spray all around. Didn't see anymore until leaving day. Ants in the bathroom, only a few at 1st but then became more, all over toothbrushes and then later on in the kitchen sink running riot in the coffee cups. Security seemed an issue, Small bolt to hold patio doors closed, main door had a 1 inch gap at the bottom so the dreaded cockroaches could just walk in. Pool bar menu in room was great prices but a shame it was closed throughout our stay, would have been helpful to have had that information when booking.

Amazing location, just across the street to the center, just brilliant if you have a few too many drinks, not far to go home, no hills or taxi required. Place is nice and clean, nice feature of beds upstairs as normally on the one level Fridge, Freezer and hob, seemed adequate but didn't use as we had food outside every day.

Just had to go up a lot of steps to get to the apartment and I was nervous about the remote check in but it worked for us. If you are a light sleeper it noisy with the music but we didn’t mind it what you expect bring close to the night life

Very central to everything and lovely spacious apartments near beach beside the mall shopping centre pubs restaurants and shops nice size pool

Property is a bit dated but was comfortable the staff are very friendly and helpful the location to the centre is great but the noise early in the morning roads being cleaned and bins being emptied but that’s the compromise for such a great location

The pool was freezing.....please heat the pool,makes a huge difference.

Monte Carlo is very convenient to everything ,you have the music from the bars late into the night,but that's Puerto Rico.Staff we're excellent and friendly,lovely pool bar run by an extremely friendly gentleman...a big plus.If you like being at the centre of things Monte Carlo is perfect.

We had to be moved due to an ant infestation Then our second property had a broken door

Close to everything and the pool bar is the best around ran by the sweetest gentleman ever

It took over an hour to get the keys to the property no one answered phone or left instructions thought we would be on the street for the night as it was 8.30pm was very stressful

Very very noisy from around 6am onwards due to traffic and deliveries of barrels for restaurants/ pubs. Could do with air conditioning in rooms.

Rooms very clean and pool bar was excellent for both food and drink!

There was a few dead cockroaches. Noise was loud at night but I still slept

The lady whom I met was lovely and friendly and brought us to our apartment

Had to ask for clean sheets, wifi kept going off and reception guy wasn't the most helpful, we tried get late check-out and couldn't and they wouldn't keep our bags until bus came so were sitting around for 2 hours in the heat with a load of cases! Cleaning lady was nice and friendly though.

Location was excellent. Apartment was lovely, loads of room and nice pool with loads of sunbeds. The bar was run by a lovely guy and the food he served was delicious.
