Beautiful! My third Camino and my third stay here. Always a lovely treat on the Camino. David is so Friendly and welcoming and I always feel so looked after. The on- site restaurant serves delicious meals overlooking beautiful hillscape views. The accommodation is quaint and comfortable and offers a tranquil retreat after a long day of walking. Highly recommend

I had also stayed here last year and honestly, I felt a change. The owners we met then had a warmer, more welcoming energy – something seemed to be missing this time. Also, the dinner we had did not feel worth the price.

The room we received was beautiful and spacious – a real treat after five hours of walking on the Camino. The green, peaceful courtyard was a joy to sit in, especially with the soothing sound of the nearby river. The location is right on the Camino, about 1 km from Las Herrerías, but that wasn’t an issue at all.

It was a bit out of town and as we were walking the Camino it added a bit to our days walk. The shower/ bath was very mouldy. Our room was on the ground floor so we couldn’t open the doors as they faced the entrance.

The location was lovely. We were walking the Camino Santiago and treated ourselves to this accommodation. Drinks and dinner on the patio overlooking the view was memorable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

This lovely hotel, built in the 1800s, is in an idyllic spot along the Camino de Santiago. The rooms are small and quaint, clean and comfortable. Breakfast, bar and dinner are available. The view is lovely. But the staff truly make this an exceptional place to rest your head. My husband hurt his knee on this stage of the Camino and we had to give up our walk. It was so upsetting and we were a bit panicked about how to get home. David, owner and manager, stepped in to help. He discounted an additional nights stay, drove us to Santiago de Compostela ( a 2 hour drive), stopped at the post office to pick up a bag we had sent ahead, and then dropped us at the airport! His kindness was truly overwhelming when I felt overwhelmed by our circumstance. You could not hope for a better place to stay!

Lovely stay in characterful accommodation in a beautiful setting. Manager and staff helpful and courteous, nothing too much trouble. Lovely to watch the baby cows playing in the meadow whilst sipping a beer. The cheesecake is legendary!
