    Extremely negative as their customer service skills leave a lot to be desired.

    I want to strongly advise anyone thinking of booking this apartment not to go ahead as we had an extremely negative experience overall. Firstly, an early check in time could not be organised as we actually arrived at the destination at 9.30am therefore, we had to wait with our cases in the heat and beg to use the toilet at a hotel nearby. They eventually came to pick us up close to 1pm and handed over the keys and showed us how the appliances/air conditioning worked. I subsequently discovered that the linen provided was no way near enough so I had to wash and re-use them and pay for the apartment to be cleaned which ended up costing around $135 AUS dollars which is very poor for this length of stay. Also, during our stay we noticed that one of the radiators was loosely attached to the wall with large screws so when my daughter and her friend leaned against it trying to open the window, it broke away and detached. Upon advising the owners at checkout, (including a written email) they refused to believe our story and they spoke to us very aggressively and in the end we had no choice but to pay them $100 in cash. I did ask that they waiver this fee as a gesture of goodwill however, they blatantly refused and when I mentioned the other faults - electrical wires exposed in a plug socket in the bathroom and a detached fan above the shower, they did not budge. When I told them that the air conditioner didn't work during our stay the owner yelled at me stating that I should have told him a lot earlier than check out. He was on the phone as his wife was present in person and needed him to interpret as she couldn't speak English very well. I did not appreciate being yelled out and his wife's aggressive nature. All in all, the price paid did not match the level of service provided.

    The location was great. We had a lovely view of the Calafell beach and it was a short walk to the restaurants and cafe's. The swimming pool was lovely too.
