We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SpainWe needed to get the keys in the center of Barcelona, which 20km driving from the house itself. During the booking process it was mentioned though that someone would be waiting for us at the vila. It made us loose a lot of time and on top of that there was also absolutely zero flexibility when it comes to checkin or checkout times. We were not able to pick up the keys before 16hr.
Swimming pool, great location, well equipped kitchen and well maintained garden.

NetherlandsLocation on google maps is completely other house, other street... for this pricerange not acceptable... we arrive in the dark 0:00 but after searching and breaking in other houses gardens at 0:30... finnally we found some help on the street at 02:30 nighttime we found the house.... nit acceptable when pay 500 for 1 night... loose that 500 comlletely....tigether with 2 days cold water in shower it was the only negatve things... but again, for 500 a night EVERYTHING need to be good

United Kingdomfacilities inside the villa itself are okay, bit old/tired in some areas, however the outside facilities were great and the view from the villa was beautiful. Unfortunately we had a really bad service from the management company, Firstly we had to pick the keys to the villa up from their office in the centre of Barcelona with no parking and they were not available until 4pm. We arrived to collect them at 1ish understanding we couldn’t access the villa until 4pm but they didn’t have the Keys. Told us to come back and refused to meet us at the villa to hand them over or to leave them in a key safe facility. It was really inconvenient and unless you had hired a car like us I don’t know how you would be able to do that. Secondly they kept our full deposit of £300 staying the reasons because the villa was dirty and there was a lot of rubbish. The villa was not left dirty, yes there was a lot of recycling and rubbish bags left int he utility area but this is normal after 7 people staying a week. There were no instructions about where to put the rubbish but they did have small recycling bins available in the villa located in the utility. We used these and bagged our rubbish based on this. We put the rubbish in the outside bins during our stay but the wild boars that roam the streets in the area made a huge mess over night that we had to clean up. There was no way to keep the boars away from the outside rubbish bins. To avoid this happening again we left the rubbish bagged in the utility room which we think is entirely reasonable. It took the management company a week to inform me we wouldn’t be having the deposit back after I chased them twice. I replied to their message asking them to reconsider for the reasons above and I haven’t even had the curtesy of a response. The keeping of the deposit was completely unfair and unreasonable and the communication about it extremely poor.
