Casa Acougo is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with excellent wines, and above all, the warm hospitality of Lucía and Sebastian created such a welcoming atmosphere. Every detail made our stay truly special!

Lucia and Sebastian were exceptional hosts! Their rooms and terrace are wonderful and incredibly relaxing. So glad we decided to have dinner at the Casa instead of going to town. The dinner was of fine-dining quality! For real! with great attention, passion and respect to local ingredients. We truly hope that all guests will appreciate the level of dishes that host creates with his own. Breakfast by the way was also excellent too. Thank you Lucia and Sebastian for your care, the extra time you spent with us, and the delightful tour ;)

It was just a bit pricey, but I would have paid double for this experience!

This was the absolute best stay on our Camino journey! Lucia and Sebastian were exceptional hosts! They incorporated the local traditional food into the menu and it exceeded my expectations! If you stay here, PLEASE have the dinner they offer! They even customized for me as a vegetarian! The facility was also exceptional! The room was absolutely fabulous!

The owners were so amazing! They have thought of every little detail to make a guest’s (and pilgrim’s) stay just about perfect. Dinner was one of the very best on the Camino. I love that they knew the sourcing of all their ingredients and tried to be as local as possible. I was sorry to leave so early that I could not have their breakfast too. Laundry was included in the price and the bedroom was so comfortable and peaceful. It felt like home.

Beautiful property with a wonderful host. Lucia welcomed me earlier than my check in time. She made me a beautiful lunch did my laundry and offered me an ice pack for my sore knee. Dinner and breakfast the next morning were delicious. My favorite stay on the camino by far.

Nothing else around as you are 4-5 km’s from Sarria but hosts took care of any needs I had including ride in to Sarria.

Could not have been happier with my stay. Hosts were fantastic! I took a rest day from the Camino while here and it was the perfect choice to do so. The place is spotless! Great food! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful spot for us wanting to be a few km short of Sarria on the Camino. Lovely terraces. We had the evening meal with the host and we thought it was wonderful. Local dishes, yet great representatives of other Spanish regions. Breakfast was amazing. For us on the Camino it may have seemed a little expensive but turned out great value for money.

The Acougo was a true luxury experience. The hosts were fantastic and the room was clean, comfortable and roomy. Perfect for a night or two while walking the Camino, or for a great stay while in the area. The hosts adjusted their dinner menu to accommodate our preferences, and presented us with a dining experience that highlighted Galician specialities while explaining where they came from and how they were cooked. Truly a wonderful dining experience. Breakfast was an amazing and fresh spread, and a great way to cap off an amazing stay.

I’m on my Camino and this was like staying in fabulous Bed & Breakfast. The host was welcoming, kind and attentive. Dinner was delicious and since there were only 5 of us staying in the casa, we not only got to know each other, but also the host and her husband. Such a great night’s stay!

I loved everything. On the Camino (whatever route you take - San Xil or Samos). When you arrive, shoes are put in a drying thing! The room was spotless! Bed was comfortable. Very clean bathroom, has a bidet. Also the best smelling shampoo and soap entire Camino. So good, I showered twice!😍. Laundry and drying service was inclusive in check in which was a nice touch! Breakfast is also included, and it was heavenly!! I ordered dinner and everything was lovely!! I was so full after. It was the finest dining experience! This is my best stay in the entire Camino! Lucia and Seb were wonderful hosts! They even prepped lunch for me to take for the next Camino day. They even showed me around Sarria! For sure, if I do the Camino again, this will be the top of my where to stay list. If you plan to splurge, splurge here! Topnotch service! Very passionate and goes beyond! Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience!! 🥰

Sebastian made a gourmet dinner for us like you might find in a 5* restaurant and made a breakfast the next morning to match it. This was one of the best stays on our camino adventure! The House is absolutely beautiful with great views of the surrounding green meadows. The hosts were extremely accommodating and engaging. They made sure to think of everything. Don't miss the homemade Dinner! Breakfast is special too.

Everything. We thought we had died and gone to heaven! Lucia is incredibly kind and hospitable. She cared for us as though we were her parents. The food was Michelin star level and beautifully presented. We wanted for nothing. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished and of the highest quality. The house is artistically exciting and interesting in its modern design.

Lucia and Sebastian took hospitality to another level. The place is spotlessly clean, modern has a beautiful terrace that overlooks fields of the rural area. The place is located at. Sebastian is a great cook, he made us the best dinner I had on the Camino so far. we got free ride in the morning to where we wanted to hike from. The place is less than 100 m away from the Camino. if you are looking to relax and have peace, this is the place for you.

This property was an unanticipated delightful surprise! One of, if not THE BEST, of our 14 or so different lodgings as we walked a section of the Camino Francés on this trip. It was exceptionally clean and most comfortable! The setting is quite peaceful and pleasant. The hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating! The breakfast served was artful and very satisfying!
