How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having visited Barcelona four times, I can confidently say this was the best location I’ve stayed in. It’s conveniently close to the metro, and many of the city’s main attractions are within easy walking distance. Even a 20 minute walk feels quick when you're strolling through such charming streets. We stayed in Room 10, which was a comfortable size and very quiet, we slept well throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful terrace, a perfect spot to relax with a coffee in the morning or unwind before dinner. The complimentary coffee and snacks were a thoughtful touch, and it’s clear the B&B goes the extra mile to make every guest feel welcome. Highly recommend!

The checkin was complicated as they hadn't sent me an access code so i was standing on the street in the heat waiting. The room is simple, 2 star quality, a little dirty. The shower is good. The bed is very basic. The outdoor terrace had construction junk lying around.

Cleanliness is not at a satisfactory level. Upon check-in, we noticed hairs in both the toilet and bathroom. We reported this to the management, and they sent a housekeeper, but all she did was come with a cloth and cleaning solution to quickly scrub the bathroom floor. We expected a thorough re-cleaning of the toilet and bathroom to make us feel at ease, but that did not happen. There were other unclean areas as well — for example, around the edges of the sink where it meets the countertop. When I wiped that area with a tissue, it came away very dirty. The hairdryer was also very dirty, and we had to clean it ourselves with wet wipes. In general, everything felt quite worn-out and in need of replacement. There is not enough usable space in the room — or rather, the space is poorly utilized. You can hear everything from the other rooms and the hallway — there is absolutely no sound insulation. This disturbed our sleep. Advice to the owners: Hire a good interior designer and rearrange the rooms to make them comfortable, clean, and modern. Perform regular deep cleaning of every room, otherwise the wear and tear becomes irreversible. The walls were also covered in stains and dirt — repainting is not that difficult. You charge a significant amount for a night’s stay — reinvest in the property instead of just taking profits.

Room no:7 was very small. We could not even find a place to put the extra pillows but had to leave them on the floor. The bed was small and extra soft.

The room is quite small, as is the bathroom. I have never seen such a small sink as in that toilet. Very thin walls, you can hear when someone sneezes from the next room as if he is in yours. The breakfast was also a very poor.

Verified reviewEverything is automated, and a WhatsApp assistant guides you through the process. Everything they mentioned worked exactly as expected. I arrived early, and my room was already ready before the official check-in time. There’s a coffee area and a terrace in the common area. The location is great—only 8 minutes from Plaça de Catalunya, and the metro station is right across the street.
The place is listed as a 3-star hotel, but it felt more like a 2-star. There’s no desk for working, the bathroom is very narrow, and the bed wasn’t stable. Although there’s a window, the view is blocked by a wall in between, so almost no daylight comes in—you need to keep the lights on even during the day. The room was moderately clean. I used new slippers, but the soles became very dirty quickly, which shows the floor wasn’t properly cleaned. The internet speed is listed as 100 Mbps, but it sometimes disconnected unexpectedly. After check-out, there is no toilet available in the common area, which is inconvenient if you’re waiting around before heading to the airport or your next destination.

Beds was best part of it , very very comfortable! I reccomend all of you who is coming at Barca to choose these apartments
