Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe would have liked a little more choice for breakfast. It wasn't clear if we could request cooked eggs etc. It felt a bit like an imposition when the sign disappeared after the first morning and no offer of service forthcoming. Having said that what was available appeared to be locally sourced and very tasty.
The location was fabulous with views towards Toledo. The pool was clean, spacious and quiet. The bar and restaurant staff were really lovely in the evenings when we came back late one of the waiters, who was always so gracious and kind, served us drinks. We ate outside on the terrace one evening watching the sunset and the food and service was excellent.

GermanyIt was a wonderful holiday with the family in this perfect hotel. We enjoied Toledo, that we could overview from our balcony. The staff was very friendly - whom to mention? Miguel? Alex? It was the whole staff that made the experience exceptionel. And the owner of the hotel, Adolfo: He is a very famous star-cook with his restaurants in Toledo and Japan. He cooked for us local specialitys - I recommend you the "fried pumkin flowers" and served us several of his wines, that he produces in the yards surrounding the hotel and were sold in some of the best hotels of the world. (You have to try the "Pago del Ama", that will flavour even more after eating some olives). For the days you don't want to enjoy Adolfos regional haut cuisine I recommend you the restaurant in the "Alcazar" of Toledo. (Free entrance for restaurant). Rent a car to be independent and visit the windmills of "Don Quijote" in Consuegra, the famous El Escorial and the wonderful museums in Toledo (parking place next to the city-elevators). So - if you want to feel the spirit of Spain, enjoy it!

Puerto RicoIf traveling with family, be advised that the bathroom has a glass/transparent door. It is not facing the beds, it faces the closets and entrance door, so is relatively private.
The property is beautiful and has nice views of the old city. Staff is friendly. Has a restaurant.

LithuaniaSurprised there were no coffee/tea facilities or fridge in the room. The room was overpriced like everything in Toledo. Car or taxi needed to reach the town.
Natural materials in the design, spacious including the bathroom, classy but with a rural feel, with a restaurant surrounded by olive trees.

CanadaThe pool was closed as of September 15th and there was not much to do around. No bar or snack place between meals.

United KingdomWe possibly visited just as the season started to end so the hotel felt a bit dead, and in the evening the restaurant looked closed and no one was there. We were served, and some bits of the food were good (eg the courgette flowers) and others really quite bad - the tagliatelle was possibly the most tasteless pasta I’ve ever had. The food and drinks were very expensive. Likewise breakfast wasn’t great for this sort of establishment. In the rooms, the bed was the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on, and the air con turned off in the night and we had to ring for them to reboot. It worked after that.
Great spot for those visiting Toledo with a car, a wonderful view over the city, with a terrace to watch the sun go down and the city’s lights turn on. The pool area is well maintained. Nice to see Olive, Apple and pomegranate trees around the property laden with fruit. The place has a feeling of character despite it being new.

United KingdomI would only suggest that the app “What Three Words” is used to identify the location. We were on a motoring tour and locating it would have been easier.
A nice welcome on arrival, Inside and out everything looked brand new. Invitation to rest and have a refreshing drink from iced flavoured water. Room was immaculate, well equipped, a veranda with stunning views Free covered parking kept our car cooler.

SpainAt times the place seemed deserted and we weren't sure if the terrace bar was open or not. Either way it wasn't possible to enjoy the terrace due to the persistent wasps. We have kept bees so don't mind insects but these wasps were a bit too much. It was the same by the pool area which was a real pity. I understand from the staff that they have fumigated the premises. I also understand that september is the worst time for wasps so don't be too put off. One really big complaint would be NO furniture on our balcony! Hopefully that will be sorted soon.
Brand new hotel, beautifully designed and decorated. Well equipped and comfortable rooms. Amazing views. Lots of free parking. The staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful, providing maps and information about Toledo. Hotel is situated outside Toledo but the city is easy to navigate and there is free parking close to the city. We didn't use the hotel restaurant and breakfast as we were discouraged by the negative reviews about cost and service. We stayed 2 nights so that we could visit Toledo.

The hotel is brand new but has been tastefully constructed to resemble a large villa. It is spotlessly clean and has a very calm feel. The food was very good but some may find it a little expensive. The view across the valley to Toledo is second to none absolutely fantastic.
