Beautifully converted convent, comfy rooms (if a little dark), The staff were all very helpful and persevered magnificently with us and our lack of basic Spanish (and reliance on Google translate) :)

The hotel advertises an all day cafe but in reality it doesnt have one, if you go to the restaurant they will tell you what they can do (there is no menu) and will bring it out to the terrace (as they do with the drinks as there is no bar either). As we found communicating more difficult here this proved difficult and in reality they couldnt serve us when we went as they were preparing dinner

The staff did not speak any english at ALL! They don't even the words credit card or towel!! Besides that, they are not very friendly.

Secure parking for motorcycle

Dark room- unless you kept the shutters open the room was in darkness. The waitress in restaurant spoke no English at all so made the service awkward. No snack menu at lunch time available- had to order from the al la carte. Half board was ok- meal not great in the evening- cheesecake /desert was the best of the 3 courses. Breakfast was good. Didn’t serve drinks around the pool- had to go to the restaurant & practically beg to be served- I waited 10 minutes to get attention- staff in kitchen not coming out. Wouldn’t let you sit in nice area outside restaurant had to take them away- sign on door read don’t touch & staff did get annoyed if you tried to go outside. Pointless as there was tables, chairs and umbrellas outside.

Lovely hotel in quiet location. Stunning views. Motorbike friendly. Level safe parking to rear of hotel. We had a junior suite and half board option which was excellent value. Room massive. Grt views . Comfy beds. Clean bathroom with seperate toilet . Food was v good. And views from restaurant good too. Staff were all very helpful and friendly especially our waitress Sandra who had just started that day. Many thanks to all for a special stay!

Buckets collecting dripping water in many of the public areas. The renovation of the convent is a poor job.

Our second stay and it was just as good as the first, staff lovely, food great, will definitely return

Delightful hotel with top service. The room was comfortable and the dinner was much better that expected for the price. We used the free pool and parking and also visited the surrounding villages that were recommend by the nice lady at the check-in counter. Would come back for sure.

The location was fabulous for stunning walking routes from the door. The wild flowers at this time of year are amazing. The hotel staff were wonderful, especially the reception team, who were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The food was fabulous, as was the restaurant service. Half Board was excellent value for money.

The weather was very hot but there was nowhere to sit in the garden. It seems to be a Spanish trait that garden furniture is put out on a certain date , rather than weather conditions.

The breakfast experience was good. The room was ok as well as the comfort and cleanliness.

The building had some water infiltration issues. For the price it should be in a better shape.

Idyllic peaceful setting with wonderful views. Hotel is lovely and the staff are very helpful. Pool area is perfect for long, lazy days. We booked half board and dinner each evening offered a good selection of dishes.

There is a major problem with their Wi-Fi which the manager acknowledged was a long standing problem. He is just as frustrated but the owners need to fix this problem immediately. People expect and need good quality Wi-Fi. Not enough clothes storage in our bedroom for a couple staying for four nights.

Breakfast was included and plenty of choice and the restaurant offered a set dinner menu which was absolutely delicious and the restaurant itself was very clean and classy however relaxed - there is also outside seating which was perfect for breakfast on a sunny morning. We were traveling with two small well behaved dogs and they were helpful with accommodating them - the pool is amazing and the gardens and the most important factor for me was the bed and pillow were really comfortable - we are staying again on our road trip next week
