Great hotel in an excellent location on the beach front. The rooftop bar was fab with fantastic views of beautiful resort.

We were allocated a small room with very little storage and a tiny balcony. The food was good but always cold by the time we sat down.

Its location. The view from our room was stunning. The breakfast was good and the selection of foods on offer was excellent. There are a few lovely running routes - up to the lighthouse for sunrise is a breathtaking run. The beach is across the road. There are lovely restaurants within walking distance. There are very good bus links in and out of PDS.

Where do we start? - It’s not a 4 star hotel, it’s a very expensive 3 star. - the staff were a bit grumpy. Not all, some were worse than others but there was a lack of enthusiasm from some. Maybe it’s coming to end of season and they’re tired. Who knows. - The dining room wasn’t equipped for the number of guests. One morning at breakfast there was no cutlery or glasses. We heard a waiter be downright rude to a guest over a table. There was no need. - the roof top bar. The waitress couldn’t have been less interested in us. We ended up leaving when it was clear that the waitress wasn’t coming to serve us. - the pool and sunbeds. There aren’t enough and there is no one moving towels off unoccupied beds despite there being notices about it. Some had towels on them all day - no guests appeared. - The basic double room would have benefitted from a refresh. The walls were dirty and it was just run down. The soap dispenser had fallen off the wall. The legs of the bed are worn and uninviting.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful place. The staff are helpful and work hard to help with any issues. The dining room is a slick operation with a great breakfast and attentive staff. Our room was wonderful over looking the sea.

    Location good

Given a basic room but paid a lot for this holiday, room was tiny and no balcony, I complains had had to pay for a room upgrade, I looked around and every other room seemed to have a balcony?? I paid a lot for this hotel only to spend more on an upgrade, we also had the bathroom ceiling leak with water dripping in for 2 days

    Stunning views. Meals were fantastic

I thought the room was a little expensive although did enjoy the one night stay. Air con in room wasn't the best. Very little English programs on the TV. Just news which was poor.

    Leaving

Before I start, I want to point out that if the hotel replies to this review, it will only be “for the stage.” During our stay, they didn’t care at all when we shared feedback directly. So if they respond here, it’s just to save face publicly not because they actually listen or care about their guests. The only good thing about this hotel is its location — everything else is a huge disappointment. The staff are unfriendly, uninterested, and seem to care very little about guests, probably because they know the hotel will always be booked. Feedback or complaints are met with indifference. At breakfast, for example, instead of politely asking us to move a child seat, a waiter simply told us to move it because he had to work there — showing no respect or courtesy. Reception staff try, but even a smile seems difficult for them. The rooms are dirty and far from four-star standard: we found hairs and dust everywhere, a bad sewage smell, and ants crawling around. The ocean is cleaner than the pool, sunbeds and umbrellas at the pool are constantly reserved without any enforcement of rules, and staff just shrug it off. Housekeeping started entering and cleaning the room before checkout time, and when mentioned at reception, the excuse was simply “new people working.” Clearly, no one cares. Overall, the place feels run-down and sad. Employees look unhappy, the service is terrible, and the atmosphere is depressing. This hotel is massively overpriced for what it offers, and its four stars are only thanks to its location. Please, don’t waste your money. Stay somewhere else and just visit the area on a day trip. This hotel is a terrible experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I honestly only feel sad for the folks working there..

The rooms are modern and clean.

Very few sunbeds, they were taken within a few minutes every day and the pool didn’t really get the sun until the afternoon

We were granted a free upgrade, making it an extremely nice and cozy experience. The staff were super nice and helpful, and the location couldn’t have been any better. All the facilities looked super nice, and the rooftop bar was also great.

We would’ve liked a more thorough cleaning of the room. Also the smoking area by the pool could be moved, so you don’t have to walk through layers of smoke to get to the beach.

It was central very close to beach a lovely location. Food was great

Lack of sun beds and people put towels down then left for the day and no staff removed them so lots of us had to sit on a chair. They should manage it better

The location is nice and it has a pretty view from the rooftop.

The wifi never worked and the walls of the room are paper thin. I didn’t sleep well from all the noise I could hear from the hallway and from the rooms next to mine.

Second time at Eden and it never fails in location and good facilities, only downside is not enough sun loungers to facilitate rooms. But the beech is a stones through away.

Some staff serving the breakfast can be a bit arrogant.

Very nicely located within Port De Soller, which is a lovely, walkable town. Buffet breakfast and dinner are very good. Attractive rooftop bar.

We had an issue with a bad leak from the bathroom. Staff were initially unhelpful and a little rude, but did then upgrade us to a bigger room with a balcony. We would choose a better room if staying again, as it was much nicer.
