Fine for me, but family didn't enjoy the road to/from the house, which is narrow and steep in places, especially near the end.

Wonderful setting, and facilities, especially outside, including the secluded pool and terraces. Family loved it. Owner very friendly, although we had no mutual language and communicated via Google Translate!

Absolutely perfect for us. Great having private parking, especially in an old Spanish Town with very narrow streets and limited parking. Communication with the hosts was very good before and during our stay. We stayed for 3 nights and would love to go back for a week. The house has plenty of room and everything is provided to be self sufficient. We cook all of our meals so the kitchen is important and this one had everything. All essential appliances and plenty of plates, utensils, etc. The house was very clean and obviously well taken care.of. The Ac worked perfectly on both levels. 2 bedrooms with a bathroom for both. The outside is quite spectacular. Multiple levels with many options for sitting. The pool was fantastic. We spent a couple of hours each day cooling off as the sun went down. It's a great place to use as a base to head off each day and see the amazing sights and scenery of Andalucia. We would really like to return for another visit.

As we are getting old now we do find the steep steps down into the village a bit taxing but we coped ok

This is our second visit to El Manantial and it is still as good as it was two years ago. Lovely house, so clean and everything you could possibly need is supplied. It is advertised as one bedroom but has two ensuite bedrooms, a double & a twin, also a downstairs utility area with toilet and washing machine. The pool is fabulous and the two small terrace gardens above the pool were very cool and shady to sit in as it was exceptionally hot when we visited. they were full of fruit trees, pomegranate, lemon, orange, lime & apricot. It was too hot to go in the pool before 4.30 pm when it was in shade but we stayed in late most days before heading down to the village after 9pm for tapas.

there was nothing to complain about.

El Manantial was so much better than we expected, it was spotlessly clean, everything we needed in the kitchen, wonderful pool, the small terraced gardens were cool and pleasant and the views were stunning. Rather steep steps to reach the lower village but no problem to us. We were surprised on arrival to find it was a two bedroom, two bathroom house, it wasn't clear on booking details but it was nice to have a bathroom each and a dressing room. The house was cool and comfortable and although the weather was very hot it was wonderful to jump in the pool to cool down whenever we wanted.

The double bed was so uncomfortable I had to sleep in the other room which fortunately was not being used

The outside terraces were completely private with the most stunning views to wake up to. a beautifully renovated and cared for property. It was absolutely perfect.
