A very rustic stop. Just what we were expecting.

We arrived late and the restuarant was closed (off season) however the receptionist made us a delicious plate of meats and cheeses and set up a table in the restuarant. She also had cold wine on the table - so lovely.

Just lacked tea and coffee facilities in the room for the night time. Also the sofa Bed was not very comfortable

There was no menu in English and the staff did know English. Very difficult communication, because of the lamguage barierre.

Bedroom on top floor within roof space - strange bathroom layout meant very restricted headroom under shower ( basically had to sit on board across the bath) to avoid banging your head! However didn’t affect our overall enjoyment.

My door handle kept falling off but door was easily used and lockable despite this.

The staff was friendly, the restaurant food was beautiful and reasonably priced. The breakfast was our highlight due to the traditional fresh range to choose from. I took a few business cards to introduce friends and colleagues to have a weekend here.

Our only disappointment was that the walk from the hotel to the embalse has been closed for many months. Perhaps the (otherwise very helpful!) info sheet sent in advance should note this - or at least not promote the walk as an activity. There is so much else to do 😊😊

Beautiful property at the heart of Hoces del Duraton Natural Park. Huge room with air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. Extremely clean. Genuinely dog-friendly. Generous breakfast included. The food in the restaurant generally was 10/10. And friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and will certainly be back!

The restaurant was a bit disappointing after reading the reviews. There was an option for children, what is definitely a plus, but the rest of the food was disappointing. Nevertheless, we would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a very comfortable family room. The room was very large and perfect for a family of two adults and two children.

Breakfast was boring. There was homemade cake that was yummy but everything else seemed like it came from a supermarket. Orange juice in Spain that is not freshly squeezed is a quite sad.

The room was charming, the bathtub, sheets, and bathroom was very clean. The staff were very polite and friendly. Parking was plenty. The restaurant food was good.

Our stay in El Rincon de las Hoces exceeded our high expectations in all aspects. The room was was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was great and the food in the restaurante was exceptional. All the staff were friendly and very attentive; the room service was friendly and very efficient. In the restaurant we have to especially mention Ruben, very friendly and keen to help.

my Dad & I loved this lovely quaint hotel, we had our own suite, with a balcony, & the owner & staff loved & fussed over my little Bulldog, they made you feel like family, & the food was delicious, & was the best we'd had in all the hotels we visited on our journey through Spain

Somewhat run down with old unclean tables and chairs outside. Bedroom needed decorating. Dirty plug socket by bed and overflow on basin black inside. Exposed wiring to the fan.

Lovely setting at the foot of a dam. Comfortable bed and good breakfast

Location is unfortunately not very interesting. Walks are limited, need to take the car to other places or to walk next to the road.
