- The room desperately needs some renovation, sloppy water isolation job, dents and stains in the bath, half-broken shower handle, signs of previous flooding - breakfast staff doesn't speak English, so it was hard to tell the room number and to explain that the other person from the room will come later - no way to separate shower from the rest of the room, so it was moist and with no privacy

- The terrace with the loungers and a table set was bigger than the actual room, the view was awesome - It was mostly quiet (from inside of the hotel) - Check-in was fast and easy - A lot of eating options around, generally nice area

We were happy with the quality of soap and lotion, shampoo etc. but difficulty with the pump of the bottles.

I think the room was part of a suite room (two rooms separated by a door) maybe for families. The door between the rooms was not locked and so the strangers from the other room could easily come into my room. As soon as I found out I called the reception and they locked the door. So the problem was solved.

The only thing that was an inconvenience was the elevators. You constantly need a key card to use them, and on top of that, the floor buttons sometimes didn't respond on the first press, which was a bit frustrating.

Overall, the Exe Moncloa hotel is very good, modern, and conveniently located.

The room was average, it has a rooftop bar and pool (the rooftop bar was expensive (for the lame drinks) and the bar staff were not friendly) the pool was dated and slightly dirty, needs some updating.

The proximity to the train station was wonderful and easy to navigate. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. the beds were comfortable. The room was average,

No ice machines in the floor halls a definite bother to have to go to the bar especially not open during the day.

Super location in front of metro and near Princess street shopping. The staff was super accommodating to get access and bags before the room was ready, heating up food and getting ice in the bar.

It was a 4 stars hotel but was a little bit old. The waiting room in the lobby was only accesible by stairs and the stuff didn’t offer to carry the luggage.

Good Location to what I needed. But not that close to the touristy attractions, not walking distance at least.

Slow check in - I suspect system is being upgraded. Processes involved desktop computer, handwriting on scrap of paper and tablet. Strange shower, very shallow tray with inverted disc over drain. If this was not removed the tray overflowed. Bathroom seemed to be wet room (tiles with floor drain) however no lip between bathroom floor and main room - laminate floor showed signs of previous water damage. I removed drain cover, so no flooding occurred. Shower itself large and good. No shelf for toiletries built in - a plastic shelf was resting on the sink. No socket conveniently positioned for electric kettle. The above features were minor irritants which marred an otherwise pleasant room. The bar/terrace/pool were booked for a private function on the second and final night of my stay. I would have liked to relax on completion of business, and would not have booked a hotel without a bar.

Small but clean room, with sufficient space for one person on a short stay. Large comfortable bed. Sufficient electric points for electronics. Very pleasant roof terrace and bar (see below) with small swimming pool.

Adjacent rooms very close and doors close heavily, so when neighbour opens or closes door, it smacks so hard it would was you up and feel inside your room. Doors need to be adjusted so they don’t smack so hard. Pool is small and 1 m deep, so technically ornamental, pics are misleading.

Location was great facing Moncloa metro station and a 20 minute walk to center ( plaza de España, sol, etc) Comfortable bed Nice terrace with a great view. Room kept clean

The location of the hotel , yes its in front of the metro line, however the metro of Madrid is extremely confusing for first timers in Madrid. So the location of the hotel was my only issue.

The hotel was amazing in a place filled with bars and restaurants and the room was extremely clean. Right in front of the metro which was a great add on.

The room had a pretty small window with another bulding really close. That meant that there was really no privacy if you opened the curtains. Artificial lighting was also poor, with only 3 small lamps in the room. Value for money wasn’t really good.

The location was excellent in the heart of the city and the staff were very nice.

Issues with wi-fi connection: Wi-Fi connection was unstable - it intermittently disconnects. There's no response when calling reception from the room. However, the staff at the front desk are polite and do their best to assist in person.

On the first day no water available and not updated by staff.

We liked best the location because it suited best the purpose of our visit . We found the area very pleasant to walk around with all its bars , rests and other facilities. In the hotel we enjoyed the swimming pool and its views. In the room very confortable bed linen. Fridge there useful as very hot weather.

The power outlets are insufficient for two people. An additional chair would be nice.

The location is perfect. The nearby metro and buses will take you to any place of interest. Breakfast is exceptional. The room is cozy and peaceful. The Wi-Fi is stable and fast. I would rebook in the future.

fitness poor in equipment and eléctricas car changing device work with an app only possible yo activamente and register with a phone of 5 or 6 countries. I am from SUI and there was no way to activamente the car changing device. sad
