It seemed to be kind of sketchy, and my friends did not want to come by because it looked unsafe.

The apartments are good, in decent condition and well located in a normal residential area. Don't worry about the neighbors, they were friendly and really not that noisy, I never heard anything from them at night. One was joking with whenever we met, another offered to help me with my suitcase down the stairs. The area is really alright, you have a tram station 3min walk up a well lit broad street. In the middle of the night, just get an Uber back if you're uncomfortable. Close to the beach, great! The communication via booking was largely good and quick. Very responsive and tried to help out with some of my issues.

My first room was extremely small, but OK. The mattress quite uncomfortable, like the bed had no support. After asking for one, I got a remote fit the Amazon TV. One day later, it was suddenly gone - someone had removed it from my nightstand even though Noone was supposed to enter my room while I'm gone. But the biggest issue: My AC was broken when I arrived, via booking the staff told me they are sending a technician. 3 nights later, he still hadn't come. So they finally offered me a move to a different room that room was much bigger, also the apartment was bigger and nicer than the first. Unfortunately a bad sewer smell in the bathroom, but that happens in Spain... The houses often have some issues. I thought now everything would be great for the rest of the week. Unfortunately though, the mattress was wrapped in a plastic encasing with no topper, which results in very sweaty sleeping conditions. The ceiling light must have been installed poorly, so it was dimly lighting the room even when turned off, the whole night. Also, there was no tea kettle in this apartment which I did miss at night. I ended up using a duvet as a topper so I could sleep better, and had to just deal with the light. A new roommate moved in and didn't have a towel, we also had no towels in the kitchen or bathroom, no sponge in the kitchen So I went to get some from my first apartment. Nobody was there that could give it to us. All in all, I had a great time in Valencia. It is a budget accommodation, but I still think some improvements in management need to be made. It is cleaned every day, but ap not prepared correctly for guests. Necessary repairs aren't being made, only when I firmly pushed for a solution was I offered one. The issue here is not at all the neighbors, the area or even the accommodation itself, it is the people managing it. I recommend to them to spend a night in the rooms themselves so that they see what is causing problems.

Horror Movie Experience This place was an absolute nightmare. The common areas were filthy and cluttered with random furniture and junk. When I arrived, the room reeked of cigarette smoke and there were no towels provided. I stayed for 10 days, and during that time, the bed linen and towels (there was only one towel for everything) were never changed. The room wasn’t cleaned once, and even the trash was never taken out. There was no air conditioning in the room, and the heater that was supposed to work didn’t. The bathroom is tiny, shared among four apartments, and lacks even basic shelves or hooks to place your things—something essential in a shared space. The shower quickly runs out of hot water, and the kitchen doesn’t even have a place to sit. To make matters worse, one of the neighbors was extremely unhygienic, and the stench coming from their unit was unbearable every time I entered the apartment. If the justification is that it’s a budget-friendly place—that’s no excuse. There are affordable places that are clean, organized, and functional. This was none of those things.

- no kettle in the kitchen - Rats running around the building - dirty access to the building - Super cold in the night, there is ac that can heat the air but it work as loud as a tractor, so it had to be off to sleep - There is only super thin duvet that is not sufficient for such low temperature, so I ended up sick after the stay - Walls between rooms are so thin, you can hear others snoring, or talking on the phone. Several times I got woken up in the middle of the night - room is so small, bed barely fits inside - nobody thought what to do with the water that cumulates when the ac is working so it spilled on the floor making my clothes wet
