This was our favorite lodging in Spain. Claudia (and her sweet dog Brownie) welcomed us to her elegant and spacious bed and breakfast as if we were longtime friends. We were treated each morning to a delicious and extensive breakfast and ended each day sitting by a crackling fire and sipping cocktails. The rooms are spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated in keeping with the age of the house. Muchas Gracias, Claudia!

There was nothing we didn't like.

Immaculate, luxurious, lovely and helpful host Claudia. Ideal location for self-drive day trips to Besalu, Rupit, Dali museum at Figueres, Peratallada, Pals and the Roman and Greek ruins of Ruines d'Empuries. Fabulous breakfast in the garden setting, and lovely pool. The town of San Pere Pescador with restaurants is a 10 min drive. This little spot offered so much more than we were expecting.

The property was immaculately clean, quiet & peaceful, and beautifully presented. Our hosts were most welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were a sumptuous feast, with a beautifully laid out buffet, and eggs, fruit salad and fresh coffee made to order.

We loved everything about our stay here as every detail was considered-- it was comfortable and the hosts were so hospitable. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have had and we travel a lot. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

It's a beautiful house and garden in a small town, perfect for a relaxing trip. The room and bathroom are spacious, clean, and comfy. Dogs are allowed for an extra charge. The breakfast is amazing. And the hosts are really nice and they take care of their guests. L'hort de Sant Cebrià is located in a small catalan village but has plenty of good restaurants in the nearby villages. It takes around 15 min by car to get to the nearby beaches and coastal towns. We really enjoyed our stay and the area.

Given it is an older authentic house, it comes with a lot of charm but also with the fact you can hear people move around/shower/.... Didn't bother me at all, but for light sleepers, it might be important to know to bring earplugs.

Very friendly hosts, nice accommodation & good breakfast. Hosts make sure to welcome you & make sure every day everything is going well or to check in if you have questions. Easy parking.

Personally the aircon wasn’t cold enough for me, so I found it a struggle to sleep in the evenings. But my other friends were fine.

The property is stunning, decor & gardens were done to such a high standard. Even the little touches at breakfast. Bedrooms were spacious & comfy, great shower. Breakfast was fresh eggs, and homemade patties which were to die for! Both Juan & Jordi were great hosts with a beautiful home
