The location and value for the place were perfect! Located in a fun neighborhood near the city center. This place has all you need for a few nights in Madrid! I will for sure book again. Gracias

If you have a cat, don't bring it... not enough room to swing it! I had a single room, so cannot comment on others, but my room was a very narrow L shape and the worst feature was the toilet. my butt abutted the small heater at the far end, thigh against it. Being not so spritely these days, it was a bit of a challenge wedging myself in then getting up again.

Convenient location I the centre and good price, felt pretty secure , and grateful for the lift for getting luggage to the 1st floor. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Room was clean.

Had only one big cushion. A smaller soft one would be nice.

The bed was small and the room was small. So for some days it was ok. Had to keep most things in my suitcase. The bathroom was big. The small bed confortable. No air condition, but not needed in this days. Good wifi. Elevator there. Staff helpful!. Location very good!

The front door to the building was very, very heavy, and with a dangerous step, but... it is a period building, so nothing the hostal can do about it...

The location couldn't be better, and the staff, mostly kind and communicative Jessica, was excellent. The single room with private bathroom was small, but not constraining. Good space for laying open the suitcase and getting it out of the way.

There was no full partition/door between the bathroom and the room itself, although there is a glass wall behind the shower which kind of acts as such (not the worst thing in the world as it was a single room, but it did feel a bit strange for me)

I really appreciated how quiet the room was despite how central the location is. It was really easy to get a good night's sleep. Comfortable bed and decent shower as well. The staff were also really nice and the location of the hostel is very ideal for anyone wanting to stay in and around the city centre.

The location is INCREDIBLE! Right in the heart of Chueca so close to some great bars and restaurants. The place was exceptionally clean. Cannot speak highly enough about the location. Cute little rooms, was happy that we ended up with a bathroom in our room. Water pressure was very good too. Great hot water. Our rooms were made up pretty much every day too. We really enjoyed our stay at hostal la fontana

The best location, literally a minute walk from Gran Via and all the shops were really close. Despite the location I didn’t find the room to be noisy. The staff was very friendly and everything from check-in to check-out went really smoothly. The bathroom and room were very clean. Very simple room but definitely worth the price.

Thin walls so I could hear snoring next door and another neighbour talking on his phone at 2am. Due to noise issues the rule to not have visitors was good.

Great location, right next to Gran Via and metro. Walking distance to Prado, El Retiro Park, Royal Palace and other attractions. Very clean accommodation in quiet side street of busy area. My own bathroom was an added advantage. Rules ensured comfort for every guest.
