I was surprised to know that I was not in Malaga. The place was 30 miles away from Malaga.

Room affected by very bright lights on the street. Towel rack about 8ft high I couldn't reach it and didn't find a hairdryer. Bedding not ideal, I found pillow flat and hard and didn't like the eiderdown (not a duvet)

Have stayed here before so knew it was well equipped for the price range and in quite a good location. Little bar downstairs does something for breakfast. Mostly used by business people. English TV channels, ITV and BBC which is rare these days even in upmarket hotels

Small but adequate and comfortable room, spotlessly clean. We were made very welcome by management. Nearby parking could be tricky but we were lucky with a Hotel space right by the main entrance. 5 minute walk to the beach with lots of restaurants nearby.

We had booked a twin room in advance, but upon our arrival, we were informed that no twin rooms were available. This was extremely frustrating, especially since we had specified our preferences during booking and they were confirmed by the hotel. To make matters worse, the room we were given smelled strongly of smoke. As non-smokers, this was both unpleasant and unacceptable. No smoking is part of the hotel policy. Another issue we encountered was the lack of information regarding the reception's closing time in the afternoon. This led to some inconvenience, as we arrived back one afternoon and our room key did not work. We had to wait over half an hour for someone to arrive upon our call and issue a new key. It would be highly advisable for the management to display the reception's operating hours at the reception area itself to avoid any inconvenience for guests.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, and some of the staff members were polite and tried their best to assist us: We received a twin room the second day of our stay. Beds were very comfortable.

Not every room has a balcony, we didn't. There is a roof top terrace with tables and chairs but no parasols or any form of shade. Little noisy in the mornings, a lot of banging and thumping (cleaners in other rooms?) making it difficult to sleep in.

Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very little english spoken but we managed and they were patient with my teenage daughter when she practised her Spanish! Very clean, beds were comfortable, modern rooms and really good location - close to beach and all the bars and restaurants but far enough away that it was very quiet overnight. Very good value for money.

There is no private parking as in description. You need to search for public parking in the area. The Hostal staff recommended a 24h public parking which is a bit expensive.

The Hostal looks nice, the facilities are great. Location is also good, close to the city center where you can find bars and restaurants.

What a fantastic little family run Hotel, we weren't expecting such a great, well equipped, modern, spotlessly clean room for the money we paid, great little bar directly across the road and a few minute walk from the main bus station and a lovely walk to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Later than stated check in Hotel didn't make ourselves aware of the code to use when coming back after 9pm to get entry into the hotel when reception closes so bad communication Cockroaches In room is never a good experience and spoilt our stay
