I do know it is high season but for that room, price could be slightly lower as it doesn’t have the typical hotel facilities.

The location! Just by the beach. Near town as well. Cute bohemian vibe and the balcony overlooking tiny bar. Very relaxing place.

Really cute hostal, traditional interior design, clean and had a nice selection of locally sourced refreshments in our room. Location was amazing, just behind a beautiful sandy beach with great bars and restaurants. The hostel bar/restaurant was perfect, the most amazing food and lovely friendly staff.

The room, whilst lovely was a little small for 2 people and there was only 1 chair on the balcony which defeated the object of sitting out on there together.

This is a 'hostal' rather a hotel, so as long as you're aware, then nothing should be a surprise, e.g. there is no 24hr reception, kettle or iron. Although, I think an iron could be requested if asked for. Saying that, communication was great and the staff were absolutely fantastic.

Hostal Mar y Sal is 15mins drive from the airport in Ses Salines, a relatively quiet 'village'. The hotel is a stone's throw from the glorious Las Salinas Beach, making this one of the best features of the hotel. There are only a handful of rooms; where the 'superior' ones have a Juilet balcony to allow more light, compared to the 'standard' rooms. Otherwise, the size and proportions are similar. Our room faced the street, where partygoers came and went throughout the night - sleeping with an open window was therefore not an option. Facilities are limited to the lobby, parking and bar/restaurant. The bar closed shortly after 10pm and the kitchen even earlier (the neighboring beach clubs are also daytime locations). We found the accommodation rather pricey, even by Ibiza standards.

Hostal Mar y Sal is ten steps from Salinas beach, which is one of the best on the island - this location and its tradition make it unique. The room was recently renovated and as shown on the pictures (yes, there was a mosquito blind on the window - necessary at night). We loved the bohemian atmosphere at the restaurant/bar, breakfast (not included in our rate) was delightful and even though it does not have an ocean view we liked the vibes better than at the (posher) Beso or Malibu, leaving it second only to our all-time favourite Sa Trinxa. The staff was very helpful, N. in particular is a ray of sunshine and embodies the essence of Ibiza!

The room is very small for 2 people with 2 lugagges. Restaurants close very early! The hostal is far away from the city!

The staff is nice and very friendly. Les Salines beach is one of the best in Ibiza. The hostal has a nice vibe! The restaurant is good.

We travelled and stayed for a week in August 2023, it was amazing, our room was air conditioned & the decor was beautiful, beds were comfy, the shower was always hot with fresh clean towels daily and the cleaner susannah was exceptional, all the staff were so helpful and friendly, the food, juices and coffee was perfect with oat milk which was a pleasant surprise, the hostel is perfectly positioned on the beach with beach clubs nearby, we hired a car and it was the perfect base for us to travel the island, there is also a gated private car park, there is a supermarket opposite which had everything we needed, i highly recommend this delightful hostel, the owner & receptionist were super professional and nothing was too much trouble. we felt really looked after and would definitely visit again.

The room was lovely and the staff was terrific, but the public spaces were very public! It feels calm and quiet only in stretches when it is not tourist central.

Breakfast (not included) was very nice on a lovely terrace. The location, right near Salinas beach, is fantastic early and late in the day. It gets a bit hectic during prime beach time.
