Location insuperable. The reception personnel was very kind and attentive. I was upgraded from a room with a twin bed to one with a full bed. The room was small but tidy, super clean and had all the comforts needed. Same with the bathroom, it was quite tiny but newly refurbished and spotless.

This is not a luxury hotel and we had no expectation of that. The hostal is on the second floor. There is an elevator from the first floor, but not at the ground level - this did not worry us as we travelled light.

Can't beat the location steps away from Gran Via in Madrid. Even though it was so central, our room was located away from the front, so it was also very quiet. The room was very small, but it was very clean and had everything needed including air conditioning - a must in summer! The front desk staff were lovely and welcoming. The little bar downstairs next door was great for breakfast or a drink and some tapas. Everything stays open late!

Great location, nice clean room, not the fanciest or more spacious place I’ve ever stayed at but I booked it super last minute and still got a great price for the quality of the hostel. Staff was super nice and the location really couldn’t be better. The bed was super comfortable!

A bit noisy from other rooms and internal corridors

Comfy bed & pillows, nice big windows, rooms small but really nicely fitted out with wardrobe, bedside tables, drawers, etc. Lovely welcoming staff! Aircon works!

Room quite small, but expected and quite adequate especially for a short stay. Walls pretty thin between my room and next door.

Vert helpful receptionist, good position for sites and very near Callao metro station. Lift to second floor apart from about 8 steps at the bottom. Clean room, with everything necessary.

In the room I was in, I could hear people coming up the communal staircase. Earplugs would have helped.

The staff were really friendly and the location was excellent. Just a minute from Callao metro station and easy to walk to lots of great sites.

The sound isolation in our room was poor. You could hear almost everything from the neighboring room (alarms in the morning and talking). Fortunately no one was very loud so we did not have problems sleeping. Also some hairs were left in the shower, which was pretty surprising, as apart from that the cleanliness of the room was good.

The location is fantastic, right in the city centre. Also the rooms were solidly furnished and the modern smart tv was a nice touch as it allowed us to watch content. The staff were also very nice and welcoming.

The rooms were small and noise travelled easily down the halls. But ? You get what you pay for ! It's a great value in the budget category.

Only issue was that you could hear other guests coughing in the night and doors closing. But otherwise, it was perfect.

Room was a bit small and bathroom was really small - would be especially for two people. Could hear people walking in the corridor which could wake you up in the night. Maybe not the best value for money, except for the location.

Personnel were friendly and the place was clean and nice. Rooms decorated with flower wallpapers and chandeliers could be nice for a romantic get away, but perhaps not for a single bachelor :D Location is of course great in the very center next to a metro station and all the shops.
