Veeeeery small bathroom. Our room was in front of reception and we could hear all the conversations. Not a problem for me, but just to say that lift is very small. Fits one person with a suitcase. Or 2 people alone. It's on the second floor so we always went up through the stairs.

Location is great. It's literally in the center. Everything is walking distance. It's a small hostel. Pablo at the front desk is the best. Will give you all the tips for your stay. It has A/C and heater. Our room hat a small balcony. Although there are many restaurants and bars around, it was safe and not so noisy. If you want a place in the center for a good price, Lido is the best.

The water ran out one of the days - but it was an issue with the whole neighborhood and not just this hotel. The issue had been resolved by the time we got back in the evening.

Bread pieces available in the mornings with coffee. Value for money and the staff is great. Although the staff is not available physically 24/7 they are still available on WhatsApp. The other comments suggested that there’s a lot of noise that can be heard in the rooms, but we didn’t hear anything

The location of the property is amazing - right in the heart of Madrid. Since it’s a family owned business, the personal touch shows in every detail - Marco (and his brother) were extremely kind and welcoming and went the extra mile for us. Massive thank you again! The room was exceptionally clean and we couldn’t have asked for anything else! The complimentary coffee in the morning was a great start of the day as well.

Room was small but worked for us.

Family owned 50 yr business now run by 2 Brothers. Location in center city old Town nearby tourist favorites & locally owned restaurants, bodegas, bars & entertainment. Pablo (1 brother) gave us extensive info on things to do, places to see & good places to eat. He has a fun sense of humor.

The place was exceptionally clean, cleaned everyday. Most of all loved the location, just a 1 minute walk from the centre while still being very quiet in the room itself. A very comfortable and homey environment, felt safe while staying there. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating with everything, check in was easy and Pablo gave us the best food recommendations 😉The great hospitality really made our stay that much better.

It is a true price-performance hostel located in a central location. It is very clean and meets all needs. There is free tea and coffee service with croissant in the mornings. But most importantly, Pablo is an amazing host. He helped us with everything. His recommendations were excellent, especially when my phone broke and he suggested a repair shop. :)

I loved that the host was really warm, even recommended us good places to have a good meal and enjoy Madrid. They also offered free coffe for us 24/7 and snacks on the reception such as pastries, the cleaning was really good, the hotel accomodation is conveniently on the city center and the place is really clean and good

I have nothing to complain about.

They are hotel conditions at the price of a hostel. Very clean room and bathroom. Pablo is a very kind guy, he gave us a lot of information about the city, sights, restaurants, etc. The bed, pillows, very good, quiet in the room. Coffee, tea, croissants, milk are offered in the morning. It is warm in the room, it smells clean, there is air conditioning, a refrigerator, a table, a chair, a chest of drawers, a bathroom with a bathtub, towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, etc.

If I need to say something, maybe the view from the room. But the room was a suggestion from the host to have a quiter stay during New Years celebration, so we appreciated this.

The host was superb. Pablo gave us excellent tips on how to get to the accomodation, good restaurants, coffee shops and things to see in Madrid. Even though we didn't had chosen breakfast, fresh pastries and coffee/tea was available free of charge. Furthermore Pablo explained the tradition in Spain for New Years to eat grape and drink champagne and gave complementary champagne and grapes :) Lastly, the location is perfect to visit everything by foot.

If you want to experience living like home in the very heart of Madrid, literally minutes 'walk to all the important city landmarks, from museums, plazas, Retiro Park or Atocha train station, to restaurants, bars and shopping streets, this cozy family-owned hostel is definitely the perfect choice. Rooms are not huge, but clean and cozy and offer all the facilities for a comfortable stay in Madrid. Great Wi-Fi, good value for money and most of all, extraordinary client service. Very grateful to our hosts, brothers Marcos and Pablo and their kind parents, always available to assist guests with any demand, with tips and reco's about places to eat and visit, and make the stay as comfortable as possible. They really make the difference. Thank you again for everything and hope to see you again!

The rooms are really small, difficult to find space to open a big suitcase. We had some doubts about the cleanness. Some hairs found on our sheets.

I could only book for one night, due to rooms being sold out. I now understand how fortunate I was to stay there.

It was a clean, quiet, comfortable hostel. I arrived late and they were very gracious, and carried my bag. The room was spacious - bed comfortable and it had a ceiling fan. The brothers who run it are very kind - grew up outside of Sarria. The location is amazing - much like the Park Avenue of NYC.
