No AC that you can control so they control it and it gets hot

It was our pleasure to be here. Hostal is perfectly positioned, 2 minutes from the main promenade, and 10 minutes to the beach. Hosts are so kind and helpful, always there for your needs. They offers you parasol, beach towel, for free. You can also get great coffee from the machine. Room was cleaned every day, and you have 4,5 clean towel always. There was a small TV and fridge to cool your drink. Air condition is good and useful, especially in August, when it is so hot and humid outside.

The staff were amazingly kind, miguel is the kindest person ever, the room was clean, the location was great, everything was good, next time I will go back to it

Friendly staff, close to centre and marina area. Excellent accommodation given its a hostel. Treated to a welcome drink on arrival, and offered the use of reserve parasols and beach chairs if needed.

Area can be noisy at night but not their fault

We had a great stay at this hostel! While the building could use a little renovation, its location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, just steps from the sea, and close to everything. The place was spotlessly clean, the reception is open 24/7, and the area feels perfectly safe. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant stay.

The building is a bit dated, and the doors are quite thin, so you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway or other rooms.

Location is best, and staff and Receptionist are very helpful.

The staff was very kind and helpful, we could leave our bags there after leaving the accommodation and even take a shower. The air conditioning could not be turned off, but they managed to close it in our room. The shared kitchen was equipped and we were given a hairdryer if we asked for it.

We are young, we were partying, and when we got to the hotel, the next day they often told us how loud we were, that others would sleep, even though we only laughed, we didn't shout and there was no music playing.

Senor Manual is one very cheerfull and generous man, the true host 🙂

Location, clean.

Pretty old stuff in apartment

I liked there, the owner is super nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place! The location is great Our windows overlooked the courtyard. It was quiet and calm, despite the noisy city.

Location and stuff person.

Quite noisy place, couldnt keep window / balcony door open, no air conditioner. Smell of toilet. Woke up when trash car kept noise at 02 am in both nights I slept over.

The street was very close to the water front. I was taken to my room by staff.

The building was very neglected and the outside was very dirty. There was a sex worker on either side of the front door as I approached, I am a single female traveller so I did not like this. I had arranged a late check in and when I arrived after 11pm on a Saturday night the door to the street was wedged open. So was the door to the reception area. There was a very strong smell of cleaning products in the room, in the bathroom it was overpowering. There were two plastic chairs on the small balcony. When I sat on the first one one of the legs gave way and I landed on the floor. I swapped them over and when I sat on that chair its leg gave out too and I banged my head and ear on the iron railings. When I examined the chairs I could see that this had happened before as the plastic was creased where the legs collapsed. Why were they still in use? The sheets and pillowcases on the bed had been washed but were stained and worn with use and did not look clean. There was the same thing with the towels but they looked worse, very discouloured as they had not had a hot enough wash......very poor. I was bittten every night by bed bugs by the time I came home I had 25 visable on my face and hands and more on the back of my neck and on my scalp and they are still showing up now ( thats how I know they were bed bugs and not mosquetos). THis was really horrible!

The staff were incredibly friendly and allowed me to leave my luggage as long as possible, offered me coffee and were very personable. Excellent location, just a stone's throw from the beach.

Best position in town, just beside the Rambla and one block from the sea. The real difference is the courtesy and grace of Jose and his brother that make your stay like being home

Everything was fine. You are not paying for a five star hotel.
