Very narrow room. There is no space to change clothes or even to arrange clothes in the bag, because people enter the room and don't find space to enter. This room should not be for 8 people, but only for 4 or 5 people

This hostel is located in the best location in Madrid, and the metro is very close to it, You can visit all the places you want without needing transportation

The wall mounting of the bunk bed was loose, so there was a lot of shaking and squeaking whenever I turned at night.

It is walking distance from many of the top attractions and locales. Bunks had privacy curtains and the lockers in the rooms were very large and could fit my entire carry-on suitcase. Guests are assigned beds by letters so you can keep the same bed each night without needing to leave something on the bunk during the day. The bathrooms were clean, check-in was simple and quick, staff were friendly and helpful.

The dining and spared space in front of the reception is just a little small.

I arrived in Madrid airport late at night, and at that time the shuttle bus didn't get to Atocha train station, just to the Cibeles. So, the location near the Cibeles is very helpful. A staff was so helpful and feels good. The size of the room and bed are enough spacious.

As others mention, some might have an issue with the privacy in the showers, as there is partly transparent glass in the doors facing rest of the bathroom, and you might need to get dressed in the common space, with the door facing the common area in front. But unless you are gonna spend a lot of time nude in that area (where people will come and go) you shouldn't have a great problem. As it is Madrid, it might get a bit pricey on the weekends, in my opinion, which I might think exceeds the value of the place. (As it's dormitories). I was there twice, and the first time one of the sinks, as well as one of the three toilets were closed off, the toilet however was fixed by the next time I was there.

I think it (surprisingly enough?) was one of the best hostels I visited in Madrid,- and a plus for the nice staff. Small, as others say, but it also has a small kitchen- which turned out to be not so common in Madrid. With, a fridge, and a microvawe,, and a sink, as well as some cups or glasses. (Don't remember if there was cutlery). With the possibility of making a simple coffee in the micro. A small common area to work or eat, with lots of light. No terrace, but with closeness to the park, where you can bring your coffee. And depending on people's preferences, but also good ventilation, with windows to open, and maybe the door even was open a bit in the daytime. (Some of the more 'fancy' places has got completely stuffed air, just saying). And the placement is really close to Gran Via, but a few blocks aside, in a more quiet street Luggage storage. I think one of the girls said "until two".. But the others didn't say anything, so I guess it depends.

The kitchen was practically nonexistent. There were no cooking utensils. There was a toaster and a microwave.

No breakfast was provided. It is five minutes from a good market. It was quiet and clean with 24 hour access. The showers were hot, the bathroom sufficient.

Location was ideal. Very clean. Slept in 8 bed dorm. Everyone was thoughtful and considerate. Comfortable bed with individual lights and power. Showers and toilet clean. Staff were lovely. Free Wi-Fi.

Need to keep in mind that the hostel only offers a very simple kitchenette.

The location is excellent. Very well connected to Atocha station while most of the tourist spots are within walking distance.

Shower doors are transparent and wc's are in same bathroom. Room doors and beds are a bit old and squeaky.

Close to city center and the touristic attractions, always clean. A locker for each resident, curtains infront of beds keeps privacy, good Wi-Fi, friendly staff.

In my second day there, the water of the shower became cold when I was taking a shower and did not become properly hot again, but that was the only downside.

Very cozy and clean, with a great location. There is also a bar very close to the hostel (Tiger bar), where you can order a drink for 4,50 euro and get lots of food ( typical tapas) for free.

The shower doors were transparent with some frosted glass but I felt that the frosted glass did not cover everything so I felt a little uncomfortable

Showers could be more equipped with shelves, soap dispensers etc. Was a bit noisy at night if anyone moved, also in the corridors. As for most hostels I recommend buying inexpensive ear plugs to sleep at night.

Would have liked: hand dryers in kitchen and washroom; hooks on doors in toilets and on walls of showers; a small shelf beside the bed; a bench or stool outside showers to sit on while drying feet; and more comfortable dining room chairs. Not major quibbles but the little things that make a difference to travellers and help make a place a 10 rather than a 9.

The window curtain doesn’t go all the way down so I slept with a view of some office building which had a view of me sleeping through the window the bed was 5C

The location couldn’t get any better and the staff at the reception are super friendly and helpful!
