I can't think anything really

It was nice, another small historic town with lots to look/see. You have to check in at the hotel across the square to get your key/parking if you drove. Was a nice place close to everything Bars, restaurants, big supermarket isn't too long of a walk either.

The elevator was the slowest ever. You have to check in at the hotel across the way. There is no temporary parking when checking in. The hotel can be very noisy. The room was basic.

The location was walkable to restaurants and all the local attractions.

Our room had an incredibly tiny window, unlike most rooms shown on the website that have a balcony with big double windows. The reception was closed and we had to use the one of the hotel opposite (Hotel Bedel). Same with breakfast. The downstairs space seemed to open only as an evening bar, not as a breakfast restaurant, and we had to cross the square and get into the other hotel in the morning. The downstair space looks very welcoming, decorated like a small library, but it was a shame to see it closed most of the time. Car access is tricky. There's an underground car park not far way (12 Euros per day) but prepare to walk with your luggage. Small TV weirdly placed, too high and to one side.

The hotel couldn't be in a better location. Right by the historical city center and opposite the old university. The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helped us when needed. It's a really good choice for the price.

The reception is not on the same building, there’s no clear instructions where is it, we ask the staff and told us to go to the other door we ask again and told us to go to the third door and we ask again until we found out it was on the other building, not on building where you can see the name of h complutum

The bathroom door was (a) a sliding door, and hence did not close & (b) allowed anyone in the room to see & hear , into the bathroom - really uncomfortable

Some marks on the walls showing some age, and a loose light fitting beside the bed, but didn't cause any issues.

Excellent location right in the centre of Alcalá, within 1-2 minutes walk of most cafes, bars and sights in the centre. A barebones, but comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quite room considering the location opposite the uni and the bar downstairs.

I missed having a tea kettle in my room, for a tea addict like me, would have appreciated that as an added feature. Also, breakfast was nice but restricted.. would have preferred more options in egg.. both days was scrambled egg and boiled egg…
