Breakfast was very busy, and although the staff worked hard to keep everything stocked, the coffee machine was constantly running out of water. It seemed that the setup was unsuitable for the demand.

Lovely location. Great for connections for airport and local attractions. Attractive backdrop of the castle on one side, beach on another and the lovely marina on another. Our view was over the marina. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the hotels amenities were good. An extensive breakfast buffet. Lots of choice.

The hotel needs a bit of an uplift. Some minor irritations included lack of extractor in bathroom. Sink plug could only be removed by adjusting the mechanism under the sink. The balcony door didn’t have an outside handle. Had to be opened by wedging fingers between door and frame.

Location was excellent. Staff very professional and personable. Room always cleaned to a high standard.

There is no bar where one could sit and meet people. There is no entertainment in the evening. The sunbeds were very uncomfortable. The pool towel was small and only changed weekly. If you want to change it sooner, there's a €1 charge!!. I found this bizzare and mean, I paid €1350 for B&B for one week, travelling solo.

The location was excellent. The food in the restaurant was great. Good selection for breakfast also. Staff were very polite and professional. Towels were new and fluffy. Cleanliness was very good.

Pool wasn't great, the room looked bigger in the pictures than in real life, the lobby and overall appearance of the hotel was a bit disappointing given the price

Wonderful location, so close to the beach, marina, promenade and city centre. Staff were very pleasant, especially at reception and very accommodating to any requests. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. A perfect location for visiting a great city.

The bathroom had a terrible smell which drifted into the bedroom. Informed reception they were very reluctant to move us. Maintenance came to fix it but it was only temporary. The smell returned and was getting worse foul smelling.Could not sleep .We had to insist on being moved . Eventually they moved us. The smell was still in the next bathroom not as bad. We had only one night left so we just said nothing. That was the only negative to our stay.

As it is an older hotel the noise is an issue. We could hear a lot of noise from hallway and room above especially. If I came back I would have to book top floor to avoid this problem.

Lovely hotel, ideally located for easy access to Alicante old town and all of the sites to see. Our room was fabulous with views over the sea and over marina. All staff were very friendly and efficient. We had breakfast both mornings, which offered a large choice. Two well equipped pools accommodated guests easily, with poolside bar too. We would highly recommend this hotel, and should we visit again, we'd definitely stay here.
