Good location. Disappointed at when breakfast when the only thing hot was eggs, but after 15mins was informed they didn’t have any…

Room was up quite a few stairs. The lighting could have been better. No aircon and the fan was very noisy. The staff seemed to appear stressed. Very different to when we stayed the year before.

It was clean, the little double bed was comfortable, and the shower works.

Very disappointing and way overpriced. Ours was a non-refundable booking, or I definitely would have stayed elsewhere. Yes, it's an historic building with charm, but our room was tiny, way smaller than the photos show. It was also hot, without any airflow, aircon or fridge, though a pedestal fan made it less stuffy..Luckily the weather was cooler on the second night. The cool downstairs dining and lounge areas are locked outside of breakfast or dinner hours, the outdoor area is in full sun, so there is nowhere at all to sit. We had to take our food to a public park! We have been travelling around Spain for four months now, and this was double priced to every other rural accommodation, often apartments with kitchens. I must have been very tired when I booked this, thinking it was €80 for both nights.

Stunning building dating back to 13c which has been sympathetically restored and turned into a hotel. So much character but with all the modern conveniences. Our room was fabulous and such a comfy bed. We had an evening meal which was freshly prepared with the best ingredients and amazing value for money. Nothing not to like.

Cozy clean authentic room in very nice hotel ghat brings you back to medieval times.

WiFi was poor in the room, would not recommend if you need to have calls and work to do

Lovely staff & fabulous food, very friendly & loved our Shitzu Izzy

Our bed was a little hard, but we sleep on a memory foam mattress at home, perhaps a topper mattress would be very much appreciated.

Everything. Location, ambiance, cleanliness, food and service all exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and despite linguistic differences Suzanna managed to make herself understood and to understand us. If you're in the area and going to be within an hour of this place and needing a place to stay then book it. You will not be disappointed. Location-wise it feels like you are in a little village but it's actually just a small part of a much larger town. Full of charm with steep little cobbled streets and trees in the plaza.

Nothing. It's a bit off the beaten track but if you want value for money you won't beat it.

Rustic beautiful quite village and also a rustic hotel with nice staff. Good honest food.

The room was a bit cramped, like the double bed. Could be we were given this attic room because of travelling with our pet dog

The breakfast wasn't as good the rest of the meals we had at La Clerencia, it was just OK.

A really nice guest house (like staying in an old English pub), with cosy bedrooms and run by extremely nice people. The restaurant and service could not be faulted and the location was at the top of the hill in the medieval town of Ledesma.

There was nothing we didn't like, just a note of improvement, being to place mosquito nets on the outside of the window to allow you to open the windows for some air.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location. Comfortable rather than luxurious rustic style but clean and well run.

The only thing missing is a talented chef.
