Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only minor points but would have preferred a duvet (sheets and a bedspread) and no kettle in room.
Hotel kindly brought forward our booking by a day and gave us a lovely suite overlooking the grounds. Comfy bed, good shower, mini fridge, half board great value for the money – three courses and wine. Easy to find at the edge of town. Friendly staff. Dog friendly, and somewhere to walk the dog Breakfast limited, but all fresh and tasty. Relaxing place to stay for a night on our journey from Portugal back to the UK.

The outside garden areas could do with a bit of tlc, but possibly due to early in the season.
Really enjoyed my stay, and great for my dog. Staff all very helpful and genuine. I could not fault any of the staff, and all extremely helpful.

There were 2 members of staff who were friendly professional and helpful. Sadly another 2 people were ignorant and unhelpful. The breakfast waiter couldn't be bothered to fill up any of the dishes so we were limited to 2 slices of bread between us. And on checking out, one receptionist was on the phone and the other completely ignored us. Only when we walked to the car and they realised that we hadn't paid did the condescend to take any notice of us. The attitude of these 2 staff members took the shine off what could have been a really pleasant stay.

The room unfortunately had a strong odour of smoke, unfortunately the previous guest must have smoked in the room or on the balcony and it had ingresses into the room. A shame the room was not deodorised prior to us staying.
Good location close to the main routes through Valladolid. Good evening meal included with the half board basis and included wine and coffee. Good buffet breakfast with a great choice.

The breakfast was rather meagre but there were few people in the hotel in January and I expect they would have a better breakfast when the hotel is busy

I have a dog they allowed me to take the dog in the bar and get a meal. Everything you need the room I was given had rubbish Internet speed changed to a other all ok. A bit out of town but I was travelling through so ok for me

There wasn't a lot that we didn't like. The internet speed was sufficient to stream fairly adequately on the iPad but not for our Firestick on the TV. There was no kettle in the room. We hadn't brought our kettle with us, so if you want to make tea or coffee, take your own kettle and supplies.
We were passing through en route to Portugal so the location just off the Vallodolid ring road was excellent. The car parking is directly in front of the hotel and therefore very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the service in the restaurant was very prompt despite the staff serving a large Christmas party at the same time. The restaurant was excellent value for money. The set three course menu had three options per course and all the ones we chose were all good. Our room overlooking the rear of the hotel was comfortable and quiet.

No vegetarian food!! I couldn’t have dinner as the menu had nothing I could eat, not even a salad!! It’s not near any shops, so I had to go hungry 😳 not good after my 4 hour drive.
Great location, dog friendly with lovely gardens. Comfortable room and very friend helpful staff.
