Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe only real issue is that there are no air extractors at all in the property none in the bathroom so when you shower it gets very wet, when cooking the extractor over the oven only blows it up into the room not outside so again the room fills with wet damp air then the windows run with water/condensation they do provide a dehumidivior which is fine but a bit of a slow prosess and running that every day can be expensive when a few extraxtors could do the job. other than that the place is great.
Lovely setting great views on a clear day of the sea mountains general area the owners met us and they were very very lovely and helpful any questions we sent a message and they came back very quickly. There were animals on site donkies, ducks, chickens and a cat they were lovely the donkies were very friendly. Good area for walking not far from the property and around 40 mins to get to a beautiful seaside place for beach and walking. there was heating so you could keep warm as the evenings did get chilly at this time of year thanks for a lovely stay,

United KingdomIt needed more cooking utensils (wooden spoons, roasting/oven dishes, cheese grater), and the kettle was broken (it leaked while boiling, and wouldn’t turn itself off automatically once boiled). It would have also been nice to have a duvet on the bed as we ended up using lots of blankets to stay warm. Lamps would have made a nice addition to have softer more ambient lighting in the evenings as the ceiling lights were very bright. Finally, a speaker or hi-fi to link up to so that we could play music would have been much appreciated!
The garden and the animals were lovely. The house was very clean, with a good shower and comfortable bed.

Great house built by Pedro and his son Alvaro. Everything is very new and well built and all the equipment you need is there. Great bonus is the garden and outdoor BBQ. In the garden you can find your own oranges, avocados and kiwi's for instance. Great to eat these fresh from the tree! The location is quite tranquil and private but close to Icod center, the sea and shops. The buggy tour offered by Alvaro is great and takes you from the beaten tracks and into forests and nature, very much recommend!

GermanyWe were fortunate to discover this charming house in Tenerife – an ideal spot for couples or small families with up to two children. Every corner of the house is thoughtfully designed, with the many wooden elements creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is superbly equipped, and the cozy living area with plush couches and a TV invites relaxation. Large windows offer beautiful views and let in natural light. On cooler evenings, the practical heaters provide comforting warmth. The garden is a true paradise: Besides the small pool and comfortable loungers, the fruit trees and the breathtaking view of Icod and the sea offer a picturesque experience. A special highlight is the fire pit, which beckons for romantic evenings. The animal residents, especially the adorable donkeys, made our stay unforgettable. We immediately felt a connection with them, and it was a joy to occasionally treat them with a carrot or an apple – small gestures that they greatly appreciated. Pedro and Alvaro, the hosts, run this place with heart and soul. They were always friendly and accommodating, providing useful tips and ensuring we felt at home. Although we couldn't experience Alvaro's buggy tour, we recommend it based on the enthusiasm of other guests. This house is a true gem in Tenerife. We would definitely return if we visit the island again. A magical place that provides unforgettable memories and is highly recommended to anyone seeking an authentic and cozy stay.

United KingdomA removable cover for the swimming pool maybe to reduce flies in the water and some cleaning products to be left for the house
Fabulous location, nice family feel and away from busy tourist sites. Convenient to get to amenities in Icod and explore the north such as Garachico and Loro Parque/Santa Cruz/Anaga. The hosts were brilliant and even let our kids feed the animals. The property was nice and spacious with beautiful fresh air in the morning and a lovely garden to sit in/pick oranges. The play area was popular with our kids too, nice view of Mt Teide.

GermanyNot related to the property, but it is important to mention that coming there the first time could be tricky coming with an auto without enough „power“.
The location is very good. The property has absolutely everything needed for a long stay. The host is always there for any questions that might arise about the property or anything related to the life in the island. Very open and friendly person. Parking is more than enough for many cars; the pool after a day out is makes for a perfect relaxed end. The furniture outside is also great for inviting friends and relatives as well as a nice barbeque full equipped with all that is needed. Around the property there are also many things to do, especially the „Drago“ tree and the Cueva del Viento. Restaurants with tapas of the region can be also found about 5 to 10 minutes drive (la Parada is a good example) as well as unveliabable good burgers (Bonet‘s Grill) Going anywhere else in the island is very easy. We coulnd‘t think of a better stay, would be happy to come back sometime in the future.
