In the description was written that there was a terrace, but the terrace was only for the apartments on the too of the palace. Same for the check-in time: on booking was saying at 2pm, but it is actually at 3pm (even if Lara allowed us to go in earlier as the flat was ready). The bed was comfy but very small for a double bed

It was a nice little flat in a quiet street, not too far from the center (8/10 minutes walking distance). Lara, the girl that welcomed us, was super nice!

There is no place to keep your bags before check-in or after check-out😔 It was really disappointing. We needed to keep them for only 2 hours, from 11.30 am (check-out time) to 14 pm. But the manager refused and told us to use some city lockers. They are more than 0,5 km away and it was not easy for 2 women to walk there with heavy bags! We paid 8 euros for each locker and it's too much for 2 hours! We could avoid that if the owners of the apartment provided a place to keep baggage.

Most of all I liked the building itself. It was very nice and had a patio inside. It reminds me of old Moroccan riads😊 The apartment is comfortable and clean. We found enough dishes, sheets and towels. There is an electric heater and we used it at night when it became a bit cold. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances for cooking. The location is also very good. We walked only 10 min to the big cathedral and Picasso museum. Of course, there are a lot of shops, restaurants and bars around. Taxi from the apartment to the bus or railway station costs only 5-6 euros.

The apartment is very practical and it has everything needed for a nice stay of fiew days. In the neighborhood you have nice bars and restaurants where locals go for a drink or a fresh fish meal.

The internet was not working so well.

Great location and is generally very quiet. Nice terrace. 2 bathrooms and a lot of beds. Kitchen with some basic pots and dishes. Garage parking. Not far from the main attractions in Malaga and also not so far to the nearest beach, a lot of restaurants and small shops nearby.

First of all, we were given a different room than the one we originally booked-this change was made at the very last minute without proper explanation. Secondly, I had been informed that smoking on the balcony was allowed, but I was later fined for doing so. Lastly, I made sure to leave the apartment clean. I even took the time to clean up after myself, only leaving garbage bags behind because there were no clear instructions on where to dispose of them. Despite that, I was fined again, Ironically, I could have just left a mess like some guests apparently do, and it wouldn't have made a difference-but I chose to be respectful and still ended up penalized. .

No communication on payment options - the money just got taken from the default card that was on Booking.com. Not happy with how the host manages the booking payment and free cancellation. A payment for the first night was made a couple of days after the booking for 1 night (booked 3 nights total for a month ahead). This incurred bank charges due to the different currency as out bank is in the Uk with GBP. If we were to be refunded through the free cancellation option, the money coming in would most likely also be subject to additional bank charges. So NOT free cancellation if you're not using a bank account in Euro. Upon arrival to receive the keys and me asking when to pay for the remaining sum when leaving the apartment, we were told that the money had already been taken out of the same card, which is the one Booking,com needs to secure bookings, but not necessarily the one that the customer will use to pay off for the stay. This incurred further charges, even though we had planned to pay the remaining amount with Revolut and much better exchange rates through the app than the one our bank gave on the day of that transaction. They say they always do this, so be prepared for additional expenses through foreign currency exchange charges if not an account in Euros. I'd prefer to have used these wasted money on a few tapas in the city...

everything else, it was more like a hostel. The reason for well over 100 pictures is that they put the pictures of the best rooms first, if they even exist. lights in the bathroom were showing bare wires, the sofas in the sitting area were dirty and thread bare. Tap in the kitchen was coming out of its connecting hole. I can't comment on any of the other rooms as only saw this one.

Even though you have pots and plates, you don't find any bit of salt, other condiments or some towels/paper towels to wipe dishes. We stayed for 5 days and the toilet paper and garbage bags were almost rationed...🙃 also the bathroom is quite disturbing if you're planning to travel with more than one friend, because you have to cross one of the rooms to use it and you can hear everything.

Our host, Lara was so friendly and helpful. Apartment was located in the centre of the old town and ideal to go shopping or to the beach. Lovely views across the rooftops of Málaga from a large balcony. It was a great stay and would definitely stay there again
