They had just installed aircon in the rooms and it was very noisy. Hopefully, as they told us, they will try and fix it for next summer.

Staff were polite. Location excellent.

Room was very basic. Bed uncomfortable. Zero air conditioning, which proved to be horrible in the heat. A fan was provided but it didn’t compensate much.

The room is quite hot as there is no air conditioning and our wifi only worked in the lobby (not in our room). Parking is off-site and a little bit expensive.

No AC in summer in Spain my american gf was going to pass out. They made us wait 2h sending different "fixers" to no avail the owner tried to switch us to another room with no sea view, no terrace for same price When I said no offered a 20% discount but it wouldnt change: not the same for a romantic experience it was already midnight, the owner was not particularly nice over the phone, we preferred to leave

Hotel Monte Carlo in Llafranc - A One-Day Nightmare My anticipated 5-day stay at this hotel turned into an unthinkable experience that forced me to leave after just one day. Here's why: Bathroom Disaster: The bathroom was a sight of neglect. Rusty shower plates, fallen towel holders, and a non-closing shower door made it a breeding ground for inconvenience. Hygiene Horror: I found a dirty toilet brush with excrement in the bathroom – an appalling display of neglect in maintaining basic hygiene. Facility Failures: The provided small fridge was ineffective and lacked proper plug points, leading to an unsightly and unsafe arrangement with cables snaking through the room. Safety Oversight: Surprisingly, no fire detector was present in the room or the hallway, raising significant safety concerns. My stay was cut short due to these severe issues. I urge Monte Carlo Hotel to urgently address these problems to ensure the safety and comfort of future guests. Until then, I strongly advise against staying at Monte Carlo Hotel to avoid the nightmare I endured.

The owner and staff were lovely. The place is 1 min walk in quiet streets to the beach, location is great for the amazing price. Its quiet, plenty of free parking for motorcycles, car parking garage there if you can't find street parking, bed great, a very comfortable stay, couldn't believe our luck on the location for the price.

The shower was small and poor , the toilet was leaking. The room was at the 3rd floor without elevator. For old people is that a crime to go up-stairs ( total 66 steps)
